Good morning everyone.  Waiting for the coffee to finish brewing had a bite to eat.  I have been thinking this morning.  My cousin is getting married this weekend so I have been remembering the day I got married.  It was Valentines day two years ago.  A blizzard I tell you.  We went to the court house nothing fancy at all.  Then we ventured to the casino.  Lastly we went out to a small local restaurant for a lunch then back home to get the boys off the bus...How romantic huh.........My cousin is marrying a gentleman from the Army who is being sent over seas so they are having a small nice wedding then driving out to Colorado where he is stationed...I will miss her but am already planning to fly out there this summer....

So my QOTD is do you guys have any special memories or wild stories about your wedding day....For those who are single how about sharing some of your most memorable dating stories?

Gotta pack and clean today stay warm and safe everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Danielle and everyone,
At work, drinking some water right now.  Just finished a smoothie at home.

I am NOT ready for the snow we're supposed to get tonight and tomorrow.  Brrrrr!

QOTD-First marriage was just a joke.  I was 18.  He called me while I was at EMU and said "I got orders to go to Germany and I don't want to go by myself.  Wanna, like, um, get married or whatever?".  So we threw together the trashiest wedding (the reception place had a blood drive that morning so there were donuts, juice cups, and band-aid wrappers all over the dance floor).

My second wedding was two years ago in Vegas.  We flew in on Friday, got married, and came home because we didn't have anyone to watch the kids.  But the second actual marriage is much better than the first!

Bite the bullet Bren, you live in Michigan!  I'm more than glad to share the snow with you southerners!  Doesn't look like we're in for anything major up here, but we've already gotten ours.  :) Jan

I was considering joining the gym's 2010 Meltdown Challenge but needed a partner so I said forget it.  Well today a distant family member on my facebook was looking for a partner so it looks like I am signing up!

I had my coffee this morning and working on protein right now.

I was so proud I got most of my schedule done yesterday except when it came to evening then I got behind.  I am going to move on though and try harder today.  At least I got more in than I would have otherwise.

With the food journaling I noticed my various drinks and the small amount of food I eat comes to almost 1500 calories.  My dietician thinks I am adding it wrong and that it's ok but seriously I think I take in 1200-1500 a day.  It seems like too much.

QOTD-On my wedding day 10-2-99 it snowed!  For years I noticed that the first weekend in October was warm and nice fall-like.  Must have been a sign.  Nothing went as planned, but do they ever?  I shouldn't have been surprised 4 mo later my husband told me he was gay.

1500 calories seems like a lot for 10 months out.  Are you still losing or are you on maintenance now?  I'd be happy to look at your food journal if you think it's not calculating correctly.

I will send it to you.  I am still losing, but slowly.  I need to get to at least 144# and I am 211# right now.

Sparkpeople.com has an excellent food journal that put the nutritional values in for you and you can also create your own entries for recipies and stuff.

It is free. too.

Try going to fitday.com and using their food journaling system.  All you have to do is put in the food and it does the calculating of the cals., fats, carbs and proteins.  I love it and am back at it now.
I think you'll like it.

Good Morning !  Moving slow today, just started my first cup of coffee.

QOTD: When I met my husband back in the summer of 2005 he made some kind of bet with me and I told him if he lost he had to take me skiing, it was something I had always wanted to do and couldn't when I was fat, then when I lost my weight I didn't have anybody to teach me (didn't want to do it alone).  So he lost the bet and took me skiing, I think he also tried to kill me that first time, but that is a different story.  So when he asked me to marry him December of 2007 I told him yes but that we would have to wait until after my youngest got married that following August, I didn't have time to plan two weddings and we knew we wanted to have all 5 of our children there.  They are all adults and 3 live in Michigan in various places and two in Austin Texas.  Well, there was no putting him off, he planned it and found a weekend he could get all the kids to Michigan and we all went to Shanty Creek for the weekend for the wedding, skiing, and bonding!  We had a blast !  The funniest part was when they sent the van to our villa to get us and I had on a long dress and had to put my boots on, I have a great picture of me and my step daughter showing off our winter boots!  Nothing wild but it was a wonderful "Family" weekend (oh, my mom and his mom were a little upset, they weren't invited, sorry Moms).

We now go to Shanty creek every year for our anniversary, will be going there soon, can't wait !

Good Morning Danielle and Everyone else!

Working on a protein drink this morning.  Roads were good today, I didn't know about the snow brenda, so I will be off to check the weather in a minute.  Brenda your description of your first wedding made me laugh.  I can just picture the bandaids. :)  I am looking forward to a long weekend with my boys.  Maybe get some cleaning and laundry in.....

Qotd`  Somedays I'm still surprised that I ever married my guy as he wasn't exactly marriage material. haha.  Took a lot of work on both of our parts, but he is a great guy.  We also got married at the courthouse.  I almost made us late as I went to get my hair done and the girl doing it was taking her time as she thought it was a "practice run"  Well I made it in time, but the hubby was sure nervous that I wasn't showing up.  We had a reception a few days later, then went camping for a week.  Not a huge deal, but I have great memories of that weekend.

Hope you all have a really good day :)
