Just wondering if anyone has any good or bad stories about Dr. Poplawski. What you liked about him, how your surgery went and whether you had post op complicaions.

My surgery is next Thursday and I'm getting very antsy lately as I await the big day :)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chantelle!!
Dr. Poplawski will be my surgeon too.  I haven't had surgery yet (just got approved Dec 22 and still waiting for his office to call me for the next step).  But, I can tell you that I really liked him.  In the seminar I loved how he gave each of us eye contact.  Then, when I got to meet him for my one on one, he was very nice.  I have been told that he is one of the best here in MI.  So, I'm taking what I've heard about him and I feel very confident for him as my surgeon.

Good luck on your upcoming surgery!!  You will have to let us know how you did, ok??!!
God Bless,

I had Dr Pop for my original RNY 6 years ago. I am now switched to a DS as I regained my wt from the RNY.  He was a great surgeon.  I felt very confident in him and he did a fabulous job.  It is now Friday and I am sure you are in the hospital so won't be checking here for a while but I wish you the best and I hope it all went smoothly for you.  Lori
