Hi everyone,

I'm home!  As Mary has reported, the surgery went fine.  In fact if it hadn't been for the scratched cornea, I would say it was a breeze.  Honestly, I can't believe it!

Thanks for all the support you've given me.  I was very apprehensive and now I see that I really had no reason to be!

All is good.....

About that scratched cornea. Did you ask Dr. C what they were aiming for? Your stomach is a lot lower then your eye. LOL
Glad your good.

He just told me he'd seen worse....

I don't think they like to talk about it much when something like that happens.

Mary,  Check out my answer to Tari below.

BTW, I saw that you called today, but I was sleeping most of the day.... which I guess is why I'm up now!

Hi Sandi!!
Welcome back!!  And I'm sure you are happy to be at home.
I am so glad to hear that your surgery went well ~ it sure inspired me hearing you say how you were apprehensive, but now you see you really didn't have to be.  I will be keeping that in my head for when it's my turn.
But, I have to ask you, too, about the scratched cornea!!  What happened?  How did you get a scratched cornea when you were in for RNY??   I'm confussed!!  LOL
I will continue to keep you in my prayers for a speedy and uneventful recovery!!
God Bless,
