Wednesday Wake-up Call

So I forgot my phone at home yesterday (I hate when that happens).  Thankfully I only missed one call.  Which just so happened to be a butt-dial from Brenda at 7:30 a.m. and a long voicemail message of static and background radio noise.  It gave me a chuckle last night at 10pm when I finally got to my phone again.  Thanks Brenda!  Butt dial me all you want!

QOTD -- The only reason my Christmas decorations stay up longer than normal is because I'm too lazy to take them down.  I've got lighted snowflakes hanging from the tree in my front lawn and a wreath on my front door .... the pointsetta is long dead but still needs to be trashed.  Maybe I'll get around to dealing with stuff this weekend.

Hehehe... or I could just change your name in my list to something different.  Like George Clooney or Richard T. Jones.  That way when you butt dial me I can get an extra special thril from their caller ID showing up on my phone.  LOL!

Good Morning!

I had a protein hot chocolate to start my day . . I used sf raspberry syrup and it was very good.

QOTD- All my decorations are still up but will be coming down tomorrow, I left everything up  because my daughter was here and didn't want to take anytime away from visiting with her.  I keep a tall skinny tree up all winter with snowflakes, snowman and clear lights . . I take it down just before Easter . . I like the lights on at night when I am sitting in the living room.  I also decorate my porch with snowman and leave them up all winter. 

Deb I love that  you put your tree out next to the bird feeders . . I am going to tell my parents, they have a bunch of feeders and love to sit in the window and watch the birds.

I slept in until almost 9 this morning.  Wow.  Now I feel half the day is gone.  I'm having chocolate protein coffee right now.  Hubby is making himself poached eggs in the microwave right now.  We bought one of those microwave egg poacher things and it actually works pretty well.  My 18 year old great niece's husband just left for boot camp in Texas and she's having a hard time of it.  They have a two month old baby girl too.  She won't see him for at least 8 weeks now.  It's tough, young love.
QOTD:  Gary is usually on me to put the decorations away.  Everything has been put away already except a family of stuffed snowmen, which I can keep out all winter.  I like the idea of putting your tree outside next to the bird feeders.  I bought a new finch feeder because the finches weren't coming to my old (cheap) one, but haven't put it up yet.  I don't feel like trapsing through the three feet of snow to get to the shephards hook.

Good Morning Michiganders.

Not got to the coffee pot yet. Just drug my fanny out of the bed. I was up late last night because my DD was crying about her boyfriend. You guys remember the one who broke up with her via text message.
Well it seems that they were back together so she though (even though he was not spending much time with her{kept telling her he was working}) even during Christmas and New Years.
She got a rude awakening when she called his cell and "The Overtime answered" the other women. She wanted to confront him but I wouldn't let her go make a fool of herself. Seems he has been doing that for sometime now.

Maybe your son and my daughter should meet up Deb. She is 21 and here is here picture.

 

QOTD: I took everything down the on the 2ND of January. Have a small house and no room for all of it. Don't leave any thing up intentionally.
