Wednesday Wake-up Call

Where is everyone this morning? Hitting the snooze button way too often? :-).
What's waking you up? My coffee is brewing and it sure smells good.
Well, the elder son broke up with the gal from Texas. Very short-lived, but she didn't want a relationship, yet. He's dealing with it pretty well, so time to move on...
QOTD-Do you keep any Holiday decorations up longer than normal? I keep my nativity out all year long as I can't see packing it up and not enjoying it. We also put our live tree outside and upright next to our bird feeders so the birds can use it as shelter and we can still enjoy it in its natural state. We ususally burn it when it turns brown in a couple of months.....
Have a good one.

Good Morning Deb!
Had my Instant Breakfast and now on to Crystal Light.  Having a hard time sleeping so the mornings have been rough.

My boss is in Cancun!!!!!!!!!!!!!  She left this morning and won't be bac****il Monday!  Honestly, I would have paid for her trip myself just to get her out of here!  It's so nice and relaxed at work today.  I can actually listen to the radio at my desk and get some work done without stupid interruptions all day.   Yipeeeeeeeeeeee!  It's like Christmas all over again!

QOTD-Everything is put away, except for a small bunch of stuff that DH forgot.  That's sitting on the kitchen table, waiting to go out to the garage.  It will probably sit there for another wee****il he gets motivated to put it away.   The only thing I miss is the wreath on my front door.  I need to get one that I can keep up from De****il Spring, when the flowered one goes up.

Hope you all have a good day!

I remember having days at work that felt like that....it was the days that the kids didn't have school, but we did.  Teachers gone wild!  LOL!  Kidding.

Good Morning Everyone!

I am guilty of hitting the snooze button a few too many times this morning.  I got up on Monday and went to the gym at 5am.  With all the New Years Resolutioners it's hard to get any of the machines in the evening so we decided to go in the mornings before work.  So that didn't go so well this morning.  My abs are still sore from Monday and I was exhaused!  Yesterday was my first full day of work since my surgery and I seriously went to bed at 7:30 last night and didn't get up again until 6:30 this morning.  I am not a morning person so much anyway so this getting up at 5 is going to prove to be a challange.

QOTD:  I put everything away the day after christmas.  We used to do that because my DH's younger brother and sisters would come stay with us the week between christmas and New Years and we really needed the space with having 3 extra people in our house.  We have a bigger house now and they are older but I guess it's still habit to clean up right away.  The only things not put away are the window clings on the front window because they are from the movie Cars and my niece loves them and the wreath on the front door and that's just because  I keep forgetting to take it down..lol.

Have a good one everyone and stay warm!

Good morning Michigan !

A little cold out there I would say, glad I don't have to leave the house to go to work.  I still need to start the day with my coffee, the engines still need revving.

QOTD - I take them down when I get around to it, that hasn't happened yet and I don't expect it to happen for another week or two.  I didn't put much up but the tree and a few decorations.  Since we are out of town this weekend it will have to wait for the following weekend.

Stay warm!

Good morning.  Drinking my coffee, watching my alarm clock, play on the floor.  LOL!  My alarm clock doesn't have a snooze button!  He's chewing on one of his favorite things, a small silicone, jello mold.  My MIL bought a bunch of them at a yard sale for 50 cents and Dub LOVES them!  He has one tooth in and the one right next to it is working it's way up.  It's funny, because he prefers the jello molds over most of his toys.  He chews on them and laughs.

QOTD:  All of my holiday decorations are put away...mainly because I never get them out!

Just drinking my protein and starting some coffee.  I need to look back at that recent post about protein coffee to save a drink!

QOTD:  Since I use red Christmas lights I keep them up for Valentines Day.  Sometimes I even keep them up and add clear and blue for summer.  I haven't done that in a few years though.  I just took the Christmas cards down that I tape to the cupboards.  They go after the kids start school where as everything (except lights) go the day after Christmas.  I tend to decorate early so it comes down early.

Wish I could have hit the snooze button once more.  This is my third 12-hour day in a row, and the hardest one to get moving for.  Sorry about your son, Deborah, I know when he hurts, you hurt too.

My tree is still up, but only because I havent' gotten to it yet.  I usually leave my Dickens Village up all winter since it is a winter scene, not a Christmas scene, but my daughter got ambitious and took it down while I was at work on Monday and I didn't have the heart to tell her I wanted it left up.
