Good morning!  I had 3 protein coffees today.....

QOTD:  Every day.  I have to - to keep myself accountable.  I'm SO afraid of gaining (and am actually up 3 lbs now - which is at the high end of my tolerance level).  When I do that and stay there for a few days I know I have to do something different to kick start it again, and I usually KNOW what I've been doing to get to that point too....;

Hi Deb and Michiganders!!

Whhoooo...I hit the gym last night after work. Tonight it will be spin class and hopefully my BF Deborah B will be there with me hooting and a hollering!

QOTD: Oh hell no I don't weigh on that darn scale. This is one thing I'm passionate about. I go by my clothes and underware don't lie either. No more game playing with my goal size. I like being a size 6/8 and it's work to stay at this size. Putting ourselves first in regards to exercise is a must. We are worth it.

Now, not using the scale might not work for you. If you do this you have to be passionate about embracing exercise and looking at yourself naked in the mirror everyday. I'm not perfect but I am bull headed, determined and certainly not going to let a scale dictate my mood. I will never let a scale tell me I'm "good" or "bad" but I will let my panties tell me "Debbie Jean, you do NOT want to wear big girl panties again"!!

I guess it also comes down to I never weighed myself when I was fluffy and didn't want to be a slave to the scale, I don't own one.

What I tell people is weigh only once a month, if you are doing everything right your end of the month weigh in will be good...with no frustrations in between days....okay Deb, start weighing yourself only once a week to begin with...then teach yourself once a month.

Hello All,

One bottle of water down this morning now I am working on some carbmaster yogurt.  I made it back to the gym today.  I did not go at all in December.  I do have a treadmill at home so I was not totally lax.  I thought the gym would be busier but it was the same people there as before.

QOTD:  I weigh myself every Saturday.  I want to go to every other Saturday.  In the beginning I would do it every 3 days.

QOTD:  I try to weigh not more than once or twice a week.  I just joined a group of Facebook (Flabuless Facebook Losers - or something like that) and our official weigh in days are Monday, posting to the group leader by 12 noon.  Most of them are weight loss surgery participants.

Good morning Michigander.

WOW moment for me today I can now fit into comforatably a size 2x Thermal undershirt, T shirt and swet pants. Use to be a size 4 xl mens shirts and mens 3xl swets.  yahoo.

QOTD: HECK Yes I do weigh my self every day and some times 2x a day or even more. I am obsessed. If the scale don't move or goes up during the week I think that it is broken. I have even went to the extreme of buying a new scale cause I was convinced that the old one was broke. I guess it is cause  I am new out and I fear that this RnY will stop working.  Or I will do something to mess it up.

Hope you all stay warm and happy this cold blustery day.

Afternoon all,

Just finished some home made soup....multi bean w/ ham, yummy.  I don't cook allot but what I do make is pretty darn good, if I don't say so myself :).

Q:  Daily for me.  If I see too much creeping up it helps me put on the brakes.  It's so much easier to loose 5 lbs than it is to loose 15 or 20 or 50 or 100...yikes!!!  LOL.

Have a great day all,

Edie

Edie,

I made the best chicken I've ever tasted for dinner last night.  When I get it right, it's awesome!  HAHA!  I like to cook, but I want to cook like a professional.  I wish I knew what went with what and could make up my own recipes.

Gotta say I don't like to cook....I like the idea of cooking, but....no, LOL!!  I used to bake, but gave that up YEARS ago when I became diabetic.

If I had enough money I'd probable hire a chef.....well, that or a masseuse, and knowing me I'd go with the masseuse, cause ya know I obviously won't kill myself cooking I did get to over 300 lbs on my own!

Oh, for sure, I would hire a chef and a personal trainer...one of them would have to do double duty and be my driver, too!  LOL!
