hi-jack away....I totally understand the frustration. You don't understand how important your health is until it's taken away.

That dx has popped up a few times, we joke that it's House's favorite dx, but on the show he say "everyone has to get tested for it, but nobody has it", my oncologist says he always looks at the TV and says "I have patients that get it"......anyways, I don't know how else they dx it, but my CT guided lung bx came back w/ inflammation my bronchoscopy was negative, and the blood work was negative, so I have no idea, I am seeing my pulmonologist again in 2 weeks.
Thanks for the suggestion.

My son 28, niece 34, nephew 40 and myself 54 all have it. It wasn't diagnosed until we seen a pulmonolgist. And the Dr did a lung biopsy. It just so happens that we only have one in our town so we all have the same Dr. :o) We figure we make his house payment! lol
Mine is inactive, so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones . If you have active Sarcoidosis you can not have WLS is what I was told.

I've had a few CT scans of my head and orbits and there is no brain or eye involvement that they can see on those scans. I've already asked if I should see my onc or an eye Dr. was was told by the ENT and Neurologist that that was not necc.
Thanks for the suggestions.....keep'em coming guys LOL! I'm telling you I'm a House episode :( LOL!

Strawberry protein for me this morning. I am taking my son out driving this morning. He is a good driver but I have issues with other drivers. It does not matter who. It started about 5 years ago and has gotten worse over the years. I feel bad for him because I should be taking him more often. My dad has been good though taking him. I do not know where these fears come from. There was never a trauma or bad experience. One day my DH was driving and I started to have issues. It has become quite the pain.
QOTD: I do not make resolutions. I set personal goals but they have no deadline.
The kid is driving. OMG!
I use to and some times still do have panic attacks when my kids leave the house and a few minutes later I hear a bunch of sirens on the main st near my house. I know that there is a hospital not far down that road, and ambulance's go there all the time. Just makes me crazy when they are timed the same as when my kids leave. I have to call them on the cell and say where are you are you alright. OCD I guess. LOL
I had a protein hot cocoa when I crawled out of bed about 10am and will have some breakfast later (Egg salad on toasted Arnold Thin). Got a bit of housework to tackle today, then plan to hit my craft room to play with some new art supplies I bought yesterday. Watch for new projects to be posted on my new blog {Create}.
QOTD -- I did not set any resolutions or specific goals for this year. Instead I picked a Word of the Year for 2010 and I'm starting this new challenge to be more creative on a regular basis. My word is Create, see the blog link above. As for the weight loss stuff. I guess I feel like as if weight loss and being healthy is just part of my life now - it doesn't need to have it's own special goal or resolution, it's just everyday life. So I'll just continue focusing on my health and doing my best to stick to the WLS lifestyle.
