well losing on your own doesnt count at all if you havent been weighed by your doctor at least every 4-5 weeks.
As far as the liquid diet goes.... Im not positive but it was never mentioned to me. I think its a good idea though and if they dont require it I'm doing it anyway because you'll be on all liquids after anyway AND because have you seen what livers look like? you can really minimize your complication chances during surgery by doing that strict liquid thign for 2 weeks because it shrinks your liver a lot and makes it easier to get it out of the way!
:) I am probably having my surgery there as well... Dr. Kia most likely.... seems like a really nice guy and good place. I;ve bene to 3 different centers and I liked the feeling of that place the most by far! He is REAL :)
You are practically on a liquid diet so when the time comes and you are THAT close to your actual sugery it wont be too hard!!! You'll be fine!
