I had rny 6 yrs ago and have only lost 50lbs :(  I had BCBS PPO when I had the first surgery and now I have BCN.  I cannot find a PCP that will refer me to the surgeon who did the first surgery so I can see about getting the surgery redone.  Does anyone know of a Beaumont PCP that will refer me to a Beaumont surgeon or does anyone know of a PCP that will help get the surgery redone??

Dr Krause does revisions all the time, mostly of others but he does handle his own patients. Call his office, other wise PM me and I will give you my doctors phone. He or one of his partners will take you on and refer you as they did me.

Dr. Krause did my original surgery!  I would love to go back to him, but can't get a referral!  If you know of a primary care that will refer me, that would be great!  Thanks Nick!

I think your first call needs to be to Dr. Krause.  Tell him (or his office manager) what the issue is and they will likely have a suggestion for which PCP to contact.  Most bariatric clinics have a MD who works with their patients, so I'm sure they have someone who can do the referral for you.

Troy Internal Medicine owns/is partners with my weight loss Dr. (Doyle) who only refers to Krause, I'd start at Troy Internal Med. (there's something like 16 docs in the practice), that's the only reason I'd refer you there LOL! Their in Troy on Investment drive.

Good luck,
