Got cut again on 12/16.
It kind of hurts to sit up on the computer, so I haven't been around too much in the past two weeks.

I was on clear liquids until I was sent home and a day or so after I was on  full liquids.
IE. puddings,cream soups, cream of wheat, thinned oatmeal, thinned grits.

it is not so terrible. just boring. It will be OK. You just need to be creative.

Mary, were you hungry for those full liquids after surgery?  or not so much?  I'm hoping I won't be too hungry after surgery for a while.

No not hungry. But I did want something better than that chicken (watered down soup) they served in the hospital. I had a hard time balancing 60 g of protein and 64 oz of water.
it is hard to get all that in. I guarantee you won't be hungry after the surgery.

I eat because I need to now not because I and hungry. I have to battle the head hunger now. I know that if I had my 3 meals and two snack each day that it is just head hunger when I say wow lets order a pizza. Which I have had for dinner and I could only eat the toppings ( Cheese and pepperoni) from a 1/2 of a small slice. LOL. ( before I could chow down and put away a 1/2 of medium pizza by my self)

I have to say that I log all of my food on Sparks. I am close to 60 gs of protein  most of the time and hit it every now and then and stay around  8-900 cals a day. but if the scale don't move I begin to worry that I have failed.

Just remember to chew chew chew everything you put in your mouth or you will know about it in a minute.
