I'm worried about my husband.  He had surgery 12/18 and the last two days just wants to sleep.  He says he's "tired".  His crankiness level is 1000% and he's not getting his liquids or his proteins like he's supposed to.  When I remind him it turns into WW3.

SInce I am currently off on FMLA I have lots of free time on my hands.  I have gone to Walmart walking and browsing for clothes I want one day.  I have also been on here and FB.  I did shovel my driveway yesterday even though I probably shouldn't have.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

sometime about two weeks out you tend to get tired and crabby, It is usually you body reacting to the reduced calories and diet. It is common to even get depressed, too. It is the holiday season and most of society celebrates with food, He could be feeling deprived, since he is restricted.

To be on the safe side I would put a call into the Surgeon's office and let them know what is going on with him. If he is not drinking and getting his protein in it may be making him irritable.

Have you tried any of Pam T's protein shake recipes? here is a link.

Pam T has a lot of great information on her blog to help with understanding the process of WLS

Good luck and keep us posted.

Sorry I missed coffee this morning.

QOTD:  I keep pretty busy but if I get bored I go online, take a bath, or read.  I haven't read in several months so that should tell you how bored I am lol.  I rarely watch tv or dvds.  I might make crafts or sew too.  I got lots of little things I do.  I am a SAHM so I suppose I do get bored more than I realize.
