Good Morning everyone.

I'm up and ready for my last few hours at work before the holiday.  As usual, I'm mad at my evil boss.  I haven't been able to eat solid food for two weeks and she told me that I have to go pick up pizzas for everyone today.  I told her I'd like to leave when everyone is eating and she told me to quit being so negative.  Ughhhh!

Anyway, what's going on with you for the rest of the day?  I guess that's my QOTD-how are you spending the the next two days?

I am planning on a lot of napping, wrapping, and loritab...LOL

Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning Brenda and all who follow!

I am having an egg this morning, I woke up hungry which is not the usual for me.  I have been off work since last Thursday so you would think I would have everything wrapped and done but NO.  It has been very nice to just hang out.  Today I will bake Christmas cut out cookies . . when my kids were little they would frost them on Christmas Eve Day so Santa would have freshly baked cookies . . they didn't know it is because there mother would have eaten them if they were in the house . .lol

QOTD- I am going to be home alone all day so I am going to bake and wrap listen to Christmas music.  Tomorrow is our family party so always looking forward to that and then midnight service. We go to Frankenmuth for lunch on Christmas Day and then I have to work on Christmas afternoon. . .

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning, all!  I haven't started my coffee or anything yet, been up for about an hour.  I have to make a run to Target, so I'm thinking about making a pit stop at Panera while I'm out.

QOTD:  After my trip to Target.  I am coming home to bake some requested cookies for my brother and pack some stuff so we can head to Hillsdale.   We'll spend Christmas Eve with my brother and his family and my sister and her hubby.  Then we'll spend Christmas day with my inlaws.  Not sure how long we'll be in Hillsdale.  One of my nephews has a birthday on Dec. 26th. Another nephew's birthday is on the 28th.   Sometime next week we are heading to TN for a few days.  My mom has been in a rehab center following her surgery and is going home today.

Happy Holidays my OH MI family.

Tina
I bet that is one of the best Christmas gifts you could have gotten this year.

Mom get to go home!  Glad to hear that.

QOTD: I am going to try to do as little as possible. I will probably, do a quick clean up of the house and go to the grocery to get the final additions to my meal. I think I m going to grab a recipe card from one of those boxes (randomly ) and buy the ingredients and make it, to start my something different new years project off.

Have a good day and stay healthy!

Good morning!

Brenda --- Sounds like the boss needs a reality check.  Leave if you need to, she can't force you to be there.

Its been a strange week.  I keep thinking it's Friday and I don't have to work the next day - but then I realize I have to get up and go to work.  So I've been dragging butt in the mornings.  So glad we have a long weekend coming.

QOTD -- Today I'm working.  Typically we get released around 3pm the day before a holiday, so here's hoping!  If so, then I'd like to hit a couple stores on the way home - bargain bookstore I keep meaning to check out and a new thrift store near the office that just opened.  There's a photo exhibit at the Flint Institute of Art that I want to hit before it's gone on Jan 3rd - so might do that this weekend if I can get there.  No big plans really - just a few things on my play list since my schedule is wide open.

My Recipe Index is packed full of yumminess!

Good morning Brenda and the rest of you OFFer's.
When I got up this morning my digital thermometer read zero.  That's 0 degrees!  Cold outside doesn't even begin to describe it.  The dogs were hopping around holding up their paws.  We put some corn out for the deer and had nine in our yard last evening.  They've been coming every night for over a week now.  They're so pretty, and beneficial to those who need venison to eat.  Personally I love venison, especially the tenderloin.
Today I'm going to vacuum and balance my checkbook.  Then I'll cook the sauerkraut and brown the sausage.  That way I just need to heat them up when I take them to Jay's for Christmas dinner.  I'll cook the stuffed cabbage at Jay's house tomorrow.
Sounds like David Goldman will get his son back from Brazil.  Hopefully he'll have him home by Christmas.  I can't understand why it has taken five years for Brazil finally decided that the boy should be with his biological father.  So sad.
Well, happy times to everyone.  Be kind, it'll make you feel good.

I had two White Castle cheeseburgers last night, which were wonderful!  And normally I would have eaten six, so I am not stressing over my splurge.

QOTD-how are you spending the the next two days?

Working 12 hours today and eight tomorrow, then spending Christmas eve with my new honey and Christmas day with my daughter.  Having the whole family over on Saturday to celebrate.  Could be 12 people, could be 30.  I never know.

Brenda, your boss is a bit#h who has no compassion for anyone else, tell her to shove it and her pizza LOL!!!

Q: I have a CT scan tomm...I can't seem to go 6 weeks without one!  Then I'm having lunch with a friend, that's one good thing about all the scans I have to have done, I have allot of friends who live by the hospital and I always have someone to eat with after :).  Christmas morning my 2nd family has a huge breakfast, so we'll hit that then Christmas dinner with friends.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas, enjoy all those new babies with their 1st Christmas's and be safe traveling the weather sounds a bit dicey.

RNY on 10/21/08 with

Just finished my protein coffee.

QOTD:  I have to work full days today and tomorrow - then I'm off until the 4th.

Nothing planned for Christmas Eve - but I may go to church.  Christmas day I'm thinking of volunteering at the church to serve meals - otherwise I'd sit at home watching TV and drinking coffee.  My family's Christmas is on the 27th, which is also my son's birthday, so I'm not sure what's going to happen with that yet.

Next week I have my pre-op testing and dr's appt with Dr DiNick for my tummy tuck that is scheduled for Jan 15th.
