Good morning on this Christmas Eve!
Are you having your wake-up juice this morning? Just had my oatmeal, then off to water aerobics.
Pray we don't get a nasty storm later today.
QOTD-Are your ready for the big day tomorrow? Still have to wrap the DH's present and do some baking. But, most is done so I can relax and enjoy the holiday.
Have a great one!

Good Christmas Eve to all!
Having coffee with vanilla protein and s/f caramel syrup.  This is my every morning breakfast.  At least I know I'm getting in 26 gm of protein to start the day.  I love my Bunn coffee pot, it makes a 10 cup pot in 3 minutes.  Don't have to ever wait for my coffee.
My hubby is so funny.  He always wants to know who I'm talking to on here, but doesn't have a clue who you are!  :)  I think he's jealous that I spend so much time on my 'forum' and he doesn't have one...yet.
QOTD:  I'm as ready as I ever will be.  Got dinner made, presents wrapped and truck gassed up.  Will be headed downstate in an hour or so.  Gotta go shower now.
Hope everyone is safe this Christmas Season, and count your blessings, it could be worse!

Blessed Christmas Eve to all of you.

I am just starting with the Strong Black to get my engines going.

QOTD:  We don't have any big plans for tomorrow, just me and DH.  We will open gifts and then clean house, pack, and get ready so we can leave for Virginia on Saturday morning (could be a little dicey on those roads, hope not).

Thos of you driving "down State" be careful, the roads are supposed to get bad today !

Be Safe!

Ho Ho Ho Deb and everyone!

I am cleared for Phase II diet today, so I feel like it's Christmas already!  I can have cottage cheese or yogurt or unflavored oatmeal..............oh the choices!  LOL

QOTD-ummm.....I'm kind of ready.  I have to make some more stuff for a "breakfast basket" that I am making for my mom and then wrap all of DH's stuff.  Other than that, I'm ready to go.  My youngest is leaving tomorrow to go stay with his dad for a week, so that will be hard.  Although he's been a typical teenage boy the last few days, so it might be a good thing for him to go visit.  I miss the days when I could threaten him with Santa not coming if he didn't behave!!

Hope you all have a great day!!

Morning all,

I am enjoying the quiet of my office drinking my coffee and getting my email done before all heck breaks out for the last minute shoppers.

Just a quick update on my quest for promotion.  I had a quick semi-informal interview with my regional manager yesterday.  He is pleased that I am stepping up and seeking the extra responsibility.  I have all the qualifications except for a lack of selling experience, which he said can be worked around.  He is off on vacation starting tomorrow until 1/8/10 and so is his boss, so nothing will be done until that point in time.   One of my old bosses is pushing hard for me and has offered both to my regional and me to provide support and guidance.  He is coming to see me next Wednesday and bringing me a bunch of materials to "sharpen" my terminology skills.  In the meantime, my current boss turned in vacation until is resignation date of 12/31.  I have been told to "jump in and prove myself."  It is the easiest way to show them what I am made of the next two weeks.

QOTD - just ran to Target and picked up my son's stocking stuffers.  I have to wrap tonight.  I hope I have enough paper.  LOL  Maybe I better run to Hallmark before I leave.    We have cookies to bake for Santa tonight.  My son is not sure what kind of milk to put out for Santa, white or chocolate.  Such decisions at 6 years old.

Merry Christmas to everyone.  God Bless and may you and your families make wonderful memories together

Pam I'm so proud of you for going for this job!  No matter what the outcome, it shows such character and confidence on your part that you tried for it.

Merry Christmas to you...enjoy DS's age.  I had such fun with my guys when they were little and still waited up for Santa!

XOXO
