APPROVED -- woooooooooo hooooooooo!!!

 I have my surgery date and I'M ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Surgery is January 28th at 12:30.  Sure hope all goes well because my wonderful husband has a flight to texas on Feb 1...LOL  Surgery is  Thursday, I get out of hospital Saturday, he leaves Monday. Yikes...i was told all will be well and not to worry. He's more bothered  by it than I am.

I think the surgery after care is mostly affected by the patients attitude.

but then again I was very fortunate , No issues no pain. Just don't drive if you are on pain meds.

 I had breast reduction surgery last december...OMG i feel like if i can get thru that, i can get thru anything..they cut from under my arm to the center of my chest on both sides basically and i couldn't lift my arms for weeks...My friend has had both -- she said the WLS was a piece of cheese (like you meant to say!!!) compared to the other so I am confident I will be fine...and plenty of people to check in on me.  Frankly, I'm looking forward to a week alone to sort of adjust to the new me.

Congrats Amy - the day you've been waiting for is finally set!   How wonderful for you!

the best christmas I could ask for this year...next years Christmas present will be that i'm at goal. It's always something isn't it? LOL

Thats awesome....congratulations...just remember once you are home...to walk, walk, walk and sip. sip, sip. It is possible if you don't walk and move around to get some of the worse gas you ever had...and walking does help...
