Morning fellow Michiganders and anybody else.

Made a pot of PamT's famous Chi Tea. Mmnnnnnn Good. What's in your cup?

I am planning to go do a work out this am then start to go through my cook books and look for some interesting recipes for a change of pace. I have been collecting these books for a few years now. I even have four full sets of the boxes of the ones that were mailed in little card packages. I think I will start with those first.

QOTD: If you could grant one wish for someone you loved what would it be?

I would wish that everybody I know would have a million reasons to smile everyday of their lives.

Good Morning Mary and everyone else.

Looks like you and Deb are on the same schedule :-)

QOTD:   My wish would be for my daughter (and my son) to be approved next year to have their bariatric surgery.  They both want to lose weight so bad and are struggling with their weight.  Both are in the proccess of meeting the insurance requirements.  I am praying everything goes smoothly with their approvals and they can experience this at a young age rather than go through their adult life with a weight problem like I did!  I would put on the 140 lbs that I lost so far as a trade off for them to lose the weight they need to be healthy and happy.

Have a great day everyone.

Nan

I'm going to make Chai Tea soon, since my protein coffee was crappy this am.
Working on making Christmas dinner right now to take to Jay and Jessica's on Thursday.
When I moved, I got rid of a lot of cookbooks and recipes that I never used.  I kept only my favorite ones.  Since I've been up here I've accumulated a few more.  It's like a sickness.
QOTD:  I was thinking of who I would grant the one wish to, and realized you had granted the same wish to everyone.  That makes it easier.  I would wish for good health for everyone I love.

It is what it is.
If He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it...

I would wish for good health for everyone....if you have good health you have a good life!  Trust me I've had enough issues (I'm going through testing right now for potential auto-immune disease :( ) to know how valuable good health is, it's something we take for granted until something happens.....sorry, done rambling now.

Thanks Mary, this new issue is affecting my face and eyes, I'm having a hard time with light (it's boring holes in my eyes...I'm turning into a vampire LOL!), so my lap top at home kills me, I'm only on long enough to look at a few things, comment and jump off.  At wor****ep my office near dark and wear sunglasses when I'm on the computer :(, when I type I keep my eyes closed and check to see what I did!  Hopefully they can figure out what's happening (I actually think their very close to an answer, not one I'm looking forward to, but at least I may get relief).

I'll post more when I know or can look at a computer for longer than a few minutes!

Thanks again,

Edie

Thanks Nan,  I appreciate the support, this absolutely sucks!  I don't have a definitive diagnosis yet, but from what I see on line with research, I have a pretty nasty auto-immune disease, I should know within the week.  I'll let you know.

Again, thanks for the support,

Edie
