TGIF Coffee

Good morning fellow Michiganders.  I am having regular with white chocolate mocha this morning.  Getting ready to warm up the car and off to work I go.  Today is our company holiday party.
QOD:  You guys plan on seeing persons you haven't seen in a while for the holidays.  My family and I moved north about 4 years ago.  This year we are going home for the holidays.  We are all so excited just three more days of work.   I feel like a kid again lol...Have a great day and stay warm everyone!

I have the day off today - whooo hooo!   We also have our department holiday party tonight at a bowling alley and families are invited so we will be going to that. 

QOTD:  Not really planning on seeing anyone I haven't seen in a while.  We have my parents / sibblings family Christmas tomorrow but I just saw everyone at Thanksgiving.

morning! i know i have been very inconsistent with posting-really busy  with packing and hubby had surgery tuesday-long story-he's home and now useless for a few days...

today the moving begins!!! truck gets picked up at 430 and we load til it's done!! plan to be in new place by sunday at the latest!!! not sure when i'll have internet again so--

QOD: --not seeing anyone special for the holiday--same folks we spent thanksgiving with! saw my kids a few weeks ago at my son's surprise birthday party....

and the coffee cup-plain ol black...needs a refill tho!!!! may add some protein to jazz it!!!!

Good Morning!

Tonight starts the party weekend !   My Son comes into town with wife and baby, yay, can't wait!  Tomorrow the rest of my children come with their kids and we party ! ! !  Sunday is My mom, sister and all of her family !   One issue, my DH has a bad cold, he is feeling yucky.  The biggest problem with that is he is supposed to have hernia surgery on Monday, might have to post pone that, he isn't thrilled with that because he would have to reschedule it in January and with school restarting then he will have to take a day or two off of work for this, he is not a happy camper.  What bothers him most is he will not be able to get to close to the grand baby !  I guess Mema will have to get all the cuddly time......Love It !

Coffee Strong and Black, get the day going and get the house together.  Oops, gotta do that darn job that pays the bills first, darn.

Good morning all!

I made the commute to work in record time today.  The highway was clear and hardly any cars were out -- thinking maybe everyone has taken today off to extend their long week off next week?  I dunno, but it was strange to make the 1:20 drive in 1:05.

Drinking my fake latte this morning.  Had a Caramel Apple Protein Cider on the drive in. 

QOTD -- I've already seen the extended family for Christmas.  My dad's side of the family celebrated last Sunday and I generally only see those folks once a year.  My immediate family will celebrate on Christmas Day.  My mom's side of the family celebrates on New Year's Day... but I just saw all those people at Thanksgiving and we seem them often, so no big surprises there.

Good Morning All,

Strawberry protein shake for me this a.m.  I had a nice 2 days off.  We went to Bronners and we had a nice time.  The kids loved looking at all the things.. I only had to say "don't touch that"5000 times not 20 so that was good.  We went to Tony's in Birch Run for dinner.  My oldest sons eyes almost popped out of his head when he seen the amount of food on his plate. lol  and when we left my youngest got enough candy you would have thought it was Halloween time.  We had a great time.  Now it's back to work for me. 

QOTD:  Nobody new  or nobody I haven't seen.  We are a small family and we see everybody all the time.

Good morning!  My usual coffee and protein - have a day off today - WOOHOO!

QOTD:  My daughter and SonIL are coming up tonight for the weekend - we'll be having our Christmas with them.  Not seeing anyone new this year....

Today should be a better day then yesterday Im hoping.  Yesterday was our office Christmas party and I was so miserable.  So many things to try.  Fortunately, I have never been much for sweets so I never had ANY yesterday.  But as for the rest, ummmmmm. good.  No dinner for me last night.

 QOTD:  My daughter and her family will be here Sunday night and I am so looking forward to their visit but they wont be here for Christmas.  I miss them so much.  They only live 3 hours away but seems they dont get our way often enough.  My husband is wheelchair bound so we cant visit them, (no way to get in and out of homes plus dragging the lift around).  Anywho, cant wait to see my grandbabies.

Yep, I don't want to be like that at all, I do prefer my curves and being healthy.

QOTD-Tomorrow is my hubby's family party. We are all bringing a wrapped $5 gift and we have tickets, your number called you pick a gift but the next number called can take said gift away from you. You really want to be last for this game!! LOL
SD is walking in WMU's graduation, she got her master's in Aug. and has decided to walk. Tomorrow will be busy for us.
We will be having Christmas dinner with our little family Dec. 24th but on the 25th hubby and I will be ALONE!! WHHHOOOOO! I love my alone time with hubby...it's nekked in the hottub for us!

We play the same game at my family Christmas and my hubby's family Christmas.  We've been doing it for years!  We have a blast.  My family does $10-20 gifts.  Hubby's family does $5 gifts.  Sometimes it's hard to find a good $5 gift!!
