Have Pain?
Two years ago I was in an accident. I was rear ended which resulted in a closed head injury. I have had chronic head and neck pain, memory and concentration problems, motor skill loss and ringing in my ears. I was medicated for most of these and just deal with the others. I had three bouts of occupational and speech therapy in addition to having an electronic device to use for my memory.
I put up with the pain and managed it with pain killers and NSAIDs or anything I could. I finally went to an acupuncturist and received immediate relief on my first treatment. I have been almost pain free for 8 weeks now. This after having nerve blocks and injections of pain meds.
The acupuncturist is an MD in Troy. My insurance covers the treatments.
If you have pain and you know what is causing it I highly suggest trying acupuncture. He does traditional and LASER.
If you have pain and you haven't been told what causes it get a diagnosis first. In my case it was a concussion. No bleeds or anything on the MRI.
Check your insurance and see what is covered.
It worked for me.

Wow - good to know. Glad you found a way to get out of your pain - chronic pain is NO fun! Do you have to go back for "touch up" type of treatments?
I've always had neck/back pain - and have a Chiropractor on my payroll. I really don't feel as though I'm doing much better either - and I've been going to him for years. I can really tell when I DON'T go, but I wish I was seeing some more improvement....
Maybe its something I should consider.
