Snowy Saturday
Thanks, Edie. He is feeling better. We only had the one night of croup, so far. I hope that's all their is. It was horrible listening to him breathe like that. As soon as there was any sign of fever, I whisked him off to the ER. I get to over-react since I'm a first time mom. When I called my inlaws, after we left the hospital, my FIL told me what to do for it....same thing the doc told me. LOL! Apparently my hubby had Croup...A LOT...when he was a kid.

Yep....we've had a cool mist vaporizer for a little while, now. I use it in his room often. They actually recommdend bundling them up and taking them outside into the cold air. Helps open up the airway. And they also recommend the steamy shower....running it and sitting in the bathroom with them. I tried that during the day, Friday, but my bathroom didn't seem to get too steamy. My hubby said my bathroom is too big (nonsense...there is no such thing as a bathroom that's too big!) so next time I'll try his.

QOTD : Today my DH and I are going to the Veteran's hospital and helping the Rolling Thunder serve a homemade Christmas meal to the Vet's and they are also handing out gifts of robes, socks, etc to them. This will be our first time to do this and we are planning to join this organization as that is what they are dedicated to, doing for the Veteran's.
Have a safe weekend !

Thanks, Yes, Rolling Thunder is a bike orginization, we don't currently belong to it, we just met them this past summer and they are a great group of people that are dedicated to helping veterans. Yes, I ride, I have only been riding for 3 years now. I took a class in Lansing with my husband, he already had his license but hadn't ridden in over 20 years. I love it, I am now 55 so you see I started late in life....never to old to ride. I have a Suzuki Volusia and my DH has a Yamaha Star or some such thing.
