Snowy Saturday

Good morning everyone.  Waiting for my pot to be finished brewing.  Love the christmas movies and music you guys discussed yesterday.  The original Miracle on 34th Street is the best ever.  What is  on your agenda for the weekend.  My friends and hubby and I are going to Traverse City to shop today.  Cannot wait...Lots of festives at work this week glad they are done...Be careful out there I think we got about a foot and a half if not two.....Its beautiful from the inside...lol...Have a great weekend!!!!!

I am up baking cupcakes for the kids Christmas parties, including one today.  The kids are Native American so the tribe is having their annual big party where they get gifts.  My oldest will be finally in on the big kids party and dance.  They are excited.  I plan on doing some last minute shopping here when I am done with the baking.  There is lots going on this weekend.  Everyone enjoy it.

QOTD:  My son and I are supposed to be going to Kohls - I just tried to rouse him and try to beat some of the traffic/crowd.  Not really any other plans for the weekend.  May head over to the casino tonight - see whats going on there.

Morning everyone,
I am up and at 'em (since 5:10am thanks to Nick) and drinking Pam's hot cider thing.  I like it, but I can't get the powdered milk to dissolve.  Ick.

If anyone is in the Battle Creek area and wants to do some shopping, my sister is having an open house for her bath products today.  I wish I could do more to help her sell the chub rub powder.  She made it just for me before my TT because my skin was so chaffed.  It's awesome stuff, but she has been slow getting the word out.  If you're interested, PM me.

I'm finishing up some last minute stuff today and cleaning the house.  I also have to go in to work for a while because I was sick yesterday.  No rest for the wicked, eh?

Good morning.  I'm having some McD's coffee this AM as I've just gotten home from the ER with Dub.  He wasn't feeling well yesterday and it turned into Croup over night.  He woke up around 3AM, with very labored breathing and a fever starting up.  So, off we went.  They did a breathing treatment and then they had to watch him for 4 hours, so we (mostly Dub) napped in the recliner in the room.  He's doing much better right now.  Sounds TERRIBLE, but he's playing and seems himself.
We're supposed to be going to my brother's tonight for our extended family Christmas.  Not sure if we are going or not.  If we do, we'll probably leave Dub with my inlaws.  Other than that, my hubby is working all weekend, so I'll just hang at home with Dub and hopefully get a nap soon!

omg Tina, poor dubby!  give him lots of (((hugs))) and kisses from auntie b.  I bet you will be letting him sleep on your chest all day.

I am sure your family will understand if you have to miss this one year. 

We ended up going.  Dub was feeling so much better.  He was fine at the party.  Plus we only stayed a couple hours.  AJ had to get back home and get to bed since he had to work all weekend.  I was glad to get out of the house, amongst people.  Been home ALL WEEK! 

A co-workers son (born April 1st) had that a few weeks ago, he was better in a few days....she said listening to him was the hardest part!  Hope Dub feels better soon!
