TGIF!
Are you shoveling out this morning? We got about a foot of snow total during this storm. Looks pretty from the inside, but not so much fun driving.
Have a mug before you venture out! What will it be this morning? Having my weight control oatmeal, then brew a cup of decaf and black.
QOTD-What is your favorite Holiday movie or play? My church is doing a production of the "Christmas Carol" this weekend. It's one of my favorites and I can't wait to see the "stage" production. Also love the movie "It's a Wonderful Life."
Have a good Friday!

Brrrrrr !

I hear it is cold out there, luckily I just walk out of my bedroom into my office, no need to venture into the cold !

Coffee, Black and strong to get me through the last work day of the week.

QOTD - Favorite Holiday Movie -  O my goodness, Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby in White Christmas! ! !   We had to buy the movie years ago and watch it every year, it is a tradition.  Still LOVE it.

Good Friday morning everyone

Got up early today snow fall is mild here. just a dusting. Very Cold still.

QOTD: It was a Hallmark movie with Micky Rooney, as the grandpa, He promised his grandson a trip to New york for Christmas. He the grandpa died in his sleep just days before. But the angels let him stay here to fulfill his promise to his grandson who was like 8 yr old. Then in the end of the movie they were taking a Horse drawn sleigh ride and the snow began to fall the grandpa fell asleep and went to heaven. The movie was called Christmas in New York.
I also love It's a wonderful life" too but it has to be the original Version with James Stewart.

Have a safe and wonderful weekend everyone.

Good going Cheryl!  You're only 3 days further out than me, and I'm no where near 100 pounds.  You go girl!

good morning!  I FINALLY got my tree up last night.  I have seen a huge difference in my kids and that kinda makes me feel even worse that it took me so long.  Im just scared of christmas this year because nothing upsets me like disappointing my kids and this year is going to be very hard explaining to them why they each get just 1 or 2 small things.  I guess I'm paying for the years passed where they were spoiled so much. We all had a cry last night when putting on ornaments and realizing how much special holiday stuff we lost with the house last year :(  I swear I just wish to put more time in between so the pain will lessen....most days I'm ok I guess, I mean it IS just stuff.

On to more positive stuff... hmm I'm loving my coffee this morning. It's just my standard half-caf with fat free creamer....I wish I could love it black.   When I was a sophomore in college I was in the choir and there is a long story to this but to keep it short it was my dream to be in that choir and I worked hard for it for a long time.  We recorded a Christmas CD that year and my favorite thing is still (13 years later). I love to listen to this CD and to remember making it as well as all of the amazing times I had in that choir.  Unfortunately my health collapsed and I was foreced to leave school right after christmas so my time with the choir was very short but will always burn bright in me.

I think this is the last year that I will let myself sit here and not be in a choir at christmas time though.... I know what it does for me so I thikn it's time to find a church that I like and pick it up and SING again!  :)
