Good windy morning for everyone!

No Community College classes today! Really didn't want to drive on the interstate today.
QOTD-What's your best snowstorm memory? Mine is the blizzard of '78 where we had to abandon our car because we got stuck. We walked home. The next day we went to find it and it was drifted over. We have a picture of me standing on the car on my cross-country skis with just the antennae showing.

Good Morning !
I now know one problem with working from home, NO SNOW DAYS ! The only thing that would cause me to not work would be if the electricity went out and I don't want that, it would get to cold ! !
*sigh*
The DH is home cuz schools closed but he is working some this morning, he does teach some online courses so they are still able to work and he has to get ready for next term (LOL, no rest for us wicked).
QOTD - I would say it was Winter of 71/72 and my boyfriend (later to become my Husband) road over on a snowmachine and so did my sister's bf and they helped us make Cinnamon rolls with our mother. They were flour from head to toe, it was very funny, I don't think either of them had helped in the kitchen prior to that

QOTD: I have so many living here in the UP. I guess my best was in the 90s when I had my camaro on the road still and the first snow storm of the season (Nov) landed me in the ditch down an embankment. Some strangers helped me out. My car just had a little crimp in the back and all I got was some minor whiplash. A few weeks later they sent me pictures. It was real nice of them to help a stranger.

Good Morning everyone,
I forgot how cold it is when you are post op. Brrrrrrrrr! You know, I don't think it's exactly the cold, it's that it takes me forever to warm up. I find myself being so lazy about going outside to walk the dog because I know I won't warm up by bedtime.
QOTD-I don't have any good memories of anything snow or cold related. I hibernated inside as a kid, and now as an adult. I did get in to a really bad accident on Christmas Eve because of the ice in '88, but that's not a good memory!

This is kind of out of left field, but I had to tell you guys:
I found these mousse cups at Meijer yesterday and they are really, really good!
They are sugar free, and the flavors I got are creme caramel and dark chocolate. It's kind of like sf pudding, but whipped up. They are in the refrigerated case next to the jello puddings.
I'm eating a caramel one at my desk right now. I'm already pretty sick of the sweet stuff, but this is nummy.

This morning I've got my vitamins in and am trying a new protein drink. Exotic Berries. It's just ok and I'm managing to get it down so far.
It looks like it has finally stopped snowing. Gary needs to get out and clear the driveway. I want to go into town to get gas and get a haircut. I hate going somewhere new. It seems that when I finally find a stylist I like, something happens and I have to find another one. I also hate paying big bucks for a haircut, especially when I wear my hair short and it doesn't take much... I cut Gary's hair lastnight. I've finally gotten him to cut his hair shorter, so I can use the clippers on him and he looks good.
QOTD- I remember back in the early 70's when we had a snowstorm and I was stranded at a friend's house up horth (Alpena area) for a week. We were on a back road and couldn't get out. I had my snowmobile up there, so we were able to ride to the store, but I couldn't drive anywhere. My employer didn't much like the fact that I was stranded for a week. Don't know if they believed me or not, but I worked there for 32 years!
