3/4 cup butter (unsalted, and softened)
1/4 cup applesauce
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
12-ounce bag of semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees.

In a large bowl sift together flours, baking soda and salt.

In a separate bowl cream together Splenda, brown sugar, butter, applesauce, egg yolks and vanilla extract.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and pour in chocolate chips. Stir until combined, don't overmix.

I'll bet you could boost the protein if you substituted protein powder for some of the flour.  Thanks for the recipe Mary.

Good Morning All !   Black coffee to get my day started for me.

Funny story, we have the tv to go on in the morning and it is on the local news channel.  So I of course fall back to sleep and I dream that I am in a house and every room I go into is another weather forecaster telling me how bad it is going to be and they won't shut up and I can't get away from them....what a nightmare....LOL

Hmmm going to be a long day, I think my letter H is broke on my pc.  Have a great day all !

Good morning everyone!
Glad the roads aren't bad, yet. Looks like we're in for a good snow dump later today. Went to the gym bright and early..
Nothing in my cup yet as I'm having a bowl of Great Grains this morning....
Get to see my surgeon today and will ask for a fill....
Take care!

Good morning Michigan. I made it to work downtown without mu*****ident, just a little slower than usual, although I heard there were lots of bad accidents on the roads. Our Rosa Parks Geriatric Center had an open house this AM, so I had a plain cake donut and coffee-bad way to start the day.

Stay safe and warm, all!

Good morning!  Just finished my protein coffee.

We only had about 3-4" where I'm at, but have heard reports of 6" to 8" depending on where you live - and yes, its not done yet.... we're going to get it all through the weekend when the "Lake Effect Machine" kicks in... lucky us...

I live 3 miles from work - so it wasn't an issue at all for me to get here.  Schools cancelled so that keeps a lot of cars off the road.

Okay, kids, I am officially going to start posting regularly here in the MI forum.  Ready?

Morning all!  I'm pre-op so I'm having coffee w/ cream and contemplating breakfast still.  It's a tossup between healthy and notsomuch.

We, from the looks of it, are jusssssttttt barely on the edge of the upcoming storm.  We will still get hammered, but not like most of the counties North of us.  We have a high wind warning...I'm kinda bummed about it.  It's like taking a kid to a toy store where they are giving away everything, but one kid can only play with a few toys then has to leave.  If we are having crappy weather, temps in the teens, etc., I want SNOW, darn it!  Whew! /rant

Stay safe, Michigan!

Good Morning Michigan.

The snow is pretty here in mid Michigan but UGH I hate winter.  No school for us here today.  That's always exciting for the kids - a 'snow day'.

Getting ready to make some protein coffee and then move on to my usual breakfast of Carbmaster yogurt or cottage cheese.

Jan - what in the heck is Swamp Soup??

Have a great day everyone.
