Good Morning!  Man, is it cold!
I guess we can't dodge this bullet any more, huh?  I just hope the weather doesn't ruin my GNO tonight!

I haven't had much yet, just some vitamin water.  Can't decide what to eat this morning.

QOTD-I'd like for Santa to bring me a warm winter.  Think he can do that?  I gave DH a list of stuff I want....we'll have to see how it pans out.  Other than that, of course I want my family to be safe and healthy.

Hope you all have a good day!

Jay Robb strawberry protein shake for me. Its not bad, not good either though! lol  Dreading going to work today, one of my assistants walked out yesterday. Knew it was coming, but really thought she'd stick it out til we were on shut down over the Holidays. People's work ethics nowadays!!
QOTD: For Christmas, I just want us to have a safe drive down to Florida and back for my family. I know we'll enjoy ourselves when we get there!

Good Morning Deb and everyone!

Sipping on my hot protein coffee and will then move onto some Carbmaster and cottage cheese.  I'm sure that's  no surprise since it's what I drink / eat every morning.  I need to change it up a bit :-)

QOTD:  For Christmas I just want my family to be safe and healthy next year.  I have a lot going on next year because 2 two of our kids are graduating from high school, two kids having surgery and Steve & I getting married.  I hope the New Year brings me a sense of 'calmness' so I'm not stressing out about all the chaos we'll have going on in our lives.  Other than that, I'd like Santa to bring me a set of hot rollers and a hair dryer so I don't have to pack them each weekend I go to Steve's...I can have them at each house :-)

Have a great day everyone!

Nan

UpDate on the weather.

Snowfall that could reach 3 inches overnight in metro Detroit is expected to start falling around 6-7 p.m. today, which could make for slick driving tonight.         A storm making its way from the west will drape metro Detroit in 1-3 inches of snow overnight. Areas north of Detroit, including Flint and Saginaw, could see up to 5-6 inches, said WWJ-TV (Channel 62) chief meteorologist Jim Madaus.

The snow is expected to keep falling through about midnight, when temperatures start rising into the middle to upper 30s and the snow turns to rain and sleet through about 3 a.m., and then fully into rain through Wednesday morning. Temperatures are expected to peak in the low 40s by lunchtime, Madaus said.

The National Weather Service has put metro Detroit under a winter weather advisory from 7 tonight to 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Temperatures will drop Wednesday afternoon and into Thursday, with peaks in the low 20s and possible snow showers that could leave a dusting to up to an inch of snow. Wind gusts Wednesday and Thursday could reach 30-40 m.p.h., Madaus said, so bundle up.

Parts of central and northern Michigan could see 6-9 inches of snow tonight. The snowfall is part of a major winter storm that stretches from Kansas to the Upper Peninsula.

Morning everyone!!

I have had my morning toast and drinking some diet coke this morning. As much as I don't want to I know a headache is looming so I am trying to ward it off... Then off to run some errands this afternoon.

We have some foster parent training tonight and we are making a large donation of stuff to the DHS office to use for children that come into care will need. We are glad to be doing it for them.

QOTD: As normal I always say I want a child for christmas but I know my dream of that will never come true. LOL I will settle for a house full of Littles this year! We are just waiting on a call.

Other than that I really want an Ipod Touch with a radio to plug it into.

Morning all,

I am a bit on the anxious side this morning.  Got a call from the Social Worker at the school that is doing my son's autium spectrum evaluation.  We have a preliminary review on Monday with most of the people concerned.  There are some issues in regards the the Physical therapist.  I have to take my son for an evaluation at our dr, and then they have to "devise a treatment plan" for him.  He walks and runs on his toes.  It is causing feet and leg issues.  I had spoke to our PA at our Dr office about it several times, but they never did anything.  Now it looks like he will need physical therapy and braces, hopefully night only, for a while.   After some of the issues that I have had, I am thinking of changing dr offices.  I like the Dr, but he is so hard to get into.  The PA is good for basic stuff, but I don't think I am getting the level of care I need.   So anyone who has a good GP that has bariatric patients, I would love to hear from you.  Probably should ask Pam T, she has the answers to most all questions.

QOTD - I want a keurig coffee maker, but I want my son to have a wonderful christmas.  He is growing up so fast lately.  I can actually see him maturing and he is only 6.  And then there are other days that I think he is acting like a 3 year old.  LOL

Stay safe and stay warm.

Pam
