Wednesday Hump Day
Well. Had a very eventful Tuesday. Took Gary to the hospital complaining of shortness of breath and chest tightening. When I asked him if he wanted to go to the ER he said yes, so I know he was worried. They got him right in, drew blood, did an EKG, chest x-ray, cat scan and didn't find anything remarkable. They decided to keep him overnight and watch him and possibly do a heart cath in the morning. Don't know for sure. In 2000 he had a mild heart attack and at that time he had an artery that was 65% blocked. They think probably in the last 9 years the artery has become more blocked. If so, they'll probably do angioplasty. Will just have to wait and see. Poor guy, he just retired one month ago.
For some reason I'm not tired. Spent all afternoon and evening in ER and I'm home and dressed for bed, but my eyes don't want to close yet. Did a load of laundry and just finished folding it. Maybe I'll take a tylenol pm and hit the hay.
I'll let you know how Gary's doing.
Have a great Wednesday everyone.
