Good Morning All,

Hope all is going well in your neck of the woods.  Things here are good.  I have been very busy as of late.  I have gone from working 10-12 hour weeks to 30-35 hour weeks.  This is a good thing for me mentally.  I have only worked part time for the last 2 1/2 years.  I wanted to be home with my boys.  Now we are in a place that it is ok for me to work more. I am also excited about the new year.  I will be getting more hours in my office.  Regular hours, same days off same days everyday.  That is rare. Which brings me to the question of the day

QOTD:What has you excited about the new year? Are you looking forward to one thing in particular??

Mary I love what your husband said about your picture. I will work on getting a new one up myself the few day.

Exciting things--

1.  starting my bucket list
2. living for me and then the rest of the famn damily
The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.

I haven't started the coffee pot yet.  It being a new month I decided I needed to work harder on getting it all in again.  I was doing good for the first half of November but then stopped.  So I took my vitamin so far.  Made up some protein for 7 am.

QOTD:  I am excited that with a little hard work I will probably be under 200# by then!

Good Morning !

Strong black coffee for me, at least for the first two cups.

Today will again be a good day to stay on track:

B  -  Protein Drink
L -  Protein Drink
D - Probably Chicken

Next year I am starting out with meeting with a Plastic Surgeon to see about having my batwings fixed, I haven't had any ps yet and that is the part that really bothers me.  I love to wear short sleeves in the summer.  Hoping to have it done in March so I am ready for Golf and Motorcycle season.  We'll see about the dates, one step at a time !

It is just important to stay BOTT (Back On Track TODAY) !

Good Morning Cheryl and everyone,
I'm at work, drinking some tea before I have my water.
I feel bad because I've not been answering everyone (those that have had success, upcoming surgeries, personal issues, etc.).  Sometimes I just have a ton of stuff going on in real time and I don't get a chance to answer on here as I would like to.

QOTD-I'm excited about starting this "journey" (yes, I said it!) all over again.  It's hard for me to remember what it's like to have a small pouch, and to not be hungry.  I'm hoping that even if I don't get to my original goal weight, that I will at least drop all of this extra that came about in the last 18 months.

Hope you all have a great day.  I was feeling particularly blessed on my way in to work this morning.  Warm car, full tank of gas, Starbucks, new winter coat, great music.....what more could you ask for, except to not be driving to work :)

Do you have a surgery date yet Brenda?  If you posted it, I guess I missed it!

Good Morning everyone.

I've had 16 oz of SF fruit punch koolaid and just had some cottage cheese.  Will start with some protien coffee in about 45 minutes.

QOTD:  What has you excited about the new year?  Are you looking forward to one thing in particular.

The ONE thing in particular that I am looking forward to next year is Steve and I will be getting married.....Aug 7, 2010.  We've been together since 2003 and we've held off on getting married until all our kids greaduated from high school.  That is the next thing I'm excited about....both our youngest sons will graduate from high school next June which means we will have 5 in college :-)

Have a great day everyone!

I have big plans for next year.  I am hoping my daughter will be getting married, and if she does, then I will be getting married too!

I am planning to get this last 40 pounds off and to look into a TT so that I can get rid of the roll around my belly.

And hopefully there will be some travel with my honey, so that all this hard work will allow me to enjoy the world as I haven't been able to do before.

Morning all

Woke up with a scratchy throat and congested head and chest.  Hitting the Zicam and Tylenol Cold.  I am not going to get sick!  If I repeat it enough do you think it will work?

Working on some coffee.  Had my arnold thin and cream cheese.  If you have not tried these, you really need to.  I was a coffee and bagel person before surgery.  This is my substitute.  Arnold thin toasted with some whipped cream cheese, sometimes some sf jam..........Whole grain and 100 calories, has cut my morning fix by over 2/3.

QOTD - Marineland in Niagara Falls.  It is our summer vacation.  It is a combination of Sea World and Cedar Point.  My son is facinated with Orca's.  Since they closed Sea world in Ohio, the closest place is here unless we want to go to California or Florida.  You can feed Beluga Whales (smaller white whale), pet the orca's, they have walruses and seal/sea lion shows.  An aquarium and rides (which I am not a fan of).  They have other animal exhibits also.  We also plan on doing the tourist thing in Niagara, with the falls, museums and exhibits.    A honeymoon we never had with our 6 year old with us, maybe grandma too.

Pam,
I thought of you this weekend when I was making my latest creation.  I used to love Panera's cinnamon crunch bagels with honey nut cream cheese.  Obviously, can't do that any more, so here's what I do:
Toast one of the Arnold thins and then spread on light cream cheese mixed with chopped nuts, cinnamon, and some honey.  If honey bothers you, substitute Splenda or other sweetener.

It really feels like a treat for breakfast.  Thanks for the idea of toasting the thins.
