QOTD-Did you get any Black Friday bargains?

Several of us are adopting a family for Christmas, an I volunteered to buy blankets and towels for mom and five children.  I went to Kohls and got six of those extra large fleece throws and six towels and 12 washcloths.  I had a 15% off coupon, so I was planning to spend $100 and only spent $65.  I thought I would put something small in with each child's blanket to make it a little more fun when they open the package.

Good morning all! Mary, where do you buy the cider? That sounds yummy. I need something new. I'm gonna choke down my usual carbmaster yogurt w/protein.
QOTD: I did go out shopping on black friday. Got some great deal for ME!! lol Value City Furniture had ottomans for $49, regular $129! I'm re-decorating my house. I don't really have alot to buy for Christmas since we'll be in Florida. Mainly just doing gift cards for others, not my kids.
Off to house cleaning day then going to take dog for a walk then hit Lifetime later with my hubby!! Enjoy the day!!

I got the cider from Hartland market. it is by the Teas and coffees. Look on the top shelf. I think Kroger has it too.

Well, I was supposed to be in TN this weekend, bringing my mom home until after Christmas, but we didn't go.  My mom has to have a heart catheter on Tuesday, so we decided to wait until next weekend.  I REALLY wanted to go anyway this weekend, but then there was no way to get her home next weekend withou us running to TN for the 2nd time in a week.  So, we're still at the inlaws' house, but are heading home at some point today.

QOTD:  I did not go shopping yesterday...never have gone on Black Friday.  I went shopping on the day after Christmas once, and that was enough craziness to ensure that NO bargain is worth that hassle, to me...that is.  I did however peruse the Black Friday fliers to see what was on sale and noticed that MOST of them said the same sales were available online.  We don't have much to buy as far as Christmas presents go, so I don't go out of my way for shopping.

Good Afternoon All,
What a nice day here in Mid-Michigan . . I am headed out to get a few things done outside.  I have really been hitting the water lately . . I was a slacker last  week when I was on midnight's and it shows.

QOTD-  This is the first time I haven't been shopping on Black Friday . .I usually just go to go but this year had to work . . heck I didn't even look at the ads.
I did get a few CD's on Amazon for my son and they were a good deal.

No big plans for the weekend Doc lifted my restrictions last week so I thought I would get some things done outside.  I am still not going to do any real lifting yet but I am feeling so much better I thought I would go enjoy the sun.

Have a nice afternoon,

Kristy

I thought she was to attached to him myself.  Every couple of weeks I insist she return all of his things.  Neither one of them like it when I do that but I don't care.  Like I said she is a nice girl but I'm just not into her having all the things I buy for my son.  I am not sure any parent is completely comfortable with their kids choice in boy/girl friend.

I hope you and stitch are feeling better today.

I went to the show today.  We seen A Christmas Carol.  I missed my popcorn. The show was ok, it scared my youngest son.

I would not but in if I were you. It will just make you look like the bad guy. Just let it run its coarse.

Stitch is better I had some bacon for lunch and just had some turkey salad on a few Ritz crackers. been drinking tons of water though to make sure everything is working good.

I sure don't want to go through that again. yechie!

Is that the new one with Jim Carry. How was it? I saw the previews a few months ago when I went to see a movie with Julie. I wanted to go see it, too.

It was ok, nothing new in it.  I am not a fan of Jim Carrey so it is hard for me to get past that. You can see  it  in 3D but the theater by our house does not do 3D.  It was however a nice day out with my boys.
