Well,

Its 8:56pm. Thanksgiving is almost over and I pretty much did what Pam said she was going to do. ...

I'm 4 months post op and have lost 50 lbs. I deserve to eat a little out of sort today. I admit , I did not eat my protein first. I had about 6 tostitoe chips and salsa. Then had a few very small pieces of turkey one bite of potatoes , some rutabagga and a bite of stuffing. The turkey did not go down so well so I was finished. I DID however eat 3 small cookies. Thats it . I ate nothing else . Tomorrow back to Protein first . I was not going to forgo a family dinner because of my surgery. I feel ok with the way I ate today only because it was a holiday. I also took no leftovers home

I'm hopeing to loose about 35 more lbs then I'm finished.

I'm suprised at how fast I los tthe weight in the beggining . Now I'm lucky to loose 2 lbs every two weeks .I wonder why this is

Happy thanksgiving to all my OH family and friends

To me at least that's what it's all about.....back to normal on the next meal.  So you better have enjoyed the last meal, cause' it's not going to come back for a while

Hope you enjoyed, I know I did!!!

Good for you!  Days like that is what I believe this surgery is all about.  Making good choices, thinking about moderation and being conscious about what we're eating -- even on holidays.  I didn't do well with protein for my Thanksgiving dinner because the turkey was dry ... but I'd had a protein shake and a protein-forward lunch before I even got to Thanksgiving dinner, so I didn't fret too much about what I ate for the holiday meal.

Good for you in making good choices and being able to enjoy the holiday with the family.

Pam
