Making a public Holiday Pledge!
I will not overendulge tommorow and control my portions. I will allow myself a dessert. I will not snack or graze. I will celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving and be grateful for all that I have.
OK-So what's yours?
Honestly, I'm on a "Food Holiday" tomorrow. I'll eat whatever the heck I want to eat. My pouch size will keep portions reasonable, of course. Dinner isn't until 3pm and it's at someone else's house. So I won't begin indulging until afternoon and when I leave, I won't be taking leftovers. So it's one meal and I'll indulge to my heart's content.
My plan isn't the right plan for everyone and I don't recommend it if you don't have the ability to think of it as "one meal". If indulging will set into motion any out of control feelings that can't be stopped beyond a single meal, then don't do it. But I know I can, so that's my plan.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

The scale can measure the weight of my body but never my worth as a woman. ~Lysa TerKeurst author of Made to Crave
I allow my self indulgences on occasion. But the next meal is back on track! That's what "normal" people do and that's how I'm going to live.
Have a great day all,

There are so many sides, what do I choose. I choose all. Instead of using the normal serving spoon to dish out my food. I use my eating spoon. This allows me to have a bite or two of all the sides. Then I don't feel guilty about leaving food on my plate. Also, at home I usually use a small salad plate to eat off from. When a guest at another's home, I use my 14 year old's neices example and not letting my food touch. This helps in keeping the amount of food on your plate down.
