Tuesday Coffee
QOTD: I am very thankful for my DH... He has been a wonderful support and always allows me to be myself... He is a great guy and is always thinking of us first!
I hope everyone has a great day!

QOTD: Well, since they are on my mind right now, I am VERY thankful for my inlaws. They do so much for us. They really are incredible. This has been quite a year for us, so first and foremost, I am thankful for my family. Everyone has really helped us out this year after AJ's stroke. I'm thankful for my husband. He is my best friend and has been since we were 16. I'm thankful that he has kept his job in the automotive industry. He has a great work ethic (to a fault) so I'm sure that has helped. I'm thankful that he is alive and doing well. AND of course, I'm thankful for Dub. He is the single most intcredible thing that has ever happened to me and my hubby. We can't remember what life was like before he came along or how we managed so long without him!

My first 24 ounces of crystal light this morning. It is rainy and yucky here today. Today will be a lazy day just some house cleaning. Now tomorrow the baking starts. QOTD: I am thankful for my family and friends. Thankful I am able to donate my time to the bands at the schools to help get what the kids need, and also that I was able to have this surgery to get myself healthier and be able to do so much more without worrying I was gonna passout or worse. Have a great Tuesday!!!
Morning All,
Seems to be a colorful morning here.
Should be an interesting day today. I got up late, and rushed around forgot my pain meds and vitamins. I can miss the vitamins, but a day without my pain meds should be interesting.
Had a small banana, then 32 oz of crystal lite on my way to work. A cup of coffee and then some Weight control Oatmeal. Waiting for another 10 minutes or so and then its my second cup for the day.
QOTD - What am I thankful for today?
1. That although I forgot my pain meds today, I don't take 8 prescription meds a day like I did 2.5 years ago.
2. Although we are going through Autism Disorder Testing with my son, he is one of the top kids in his class, and if nothing else comes from this, I have peace of mind that I have done everything possible for him.
3. My relationship with my husband is back on track. 6 months ago, I was contimplating divorce. We changed a few things in our life, and he works 2nd shift now, we see less of each other, but appreciate the time we get to spend together.
4. I am thankful for this board. Even though I don't post every day any more, I do try to read it. Its a great support, comfort and everyone has become part of my extended family.

We write our own destiny. We become what we do.
Busy morning here. Had to wrap up a draft of a powerpoint presentation by 10:30, so feel like I'm rushed already. But it's done and now I can think about breakfast. Which is the last of my baked oatmeal with sliced apples and cranberries. Finished my coffee an hour ago.
QOTD -- We had this question at the support group meeting (in Flint) last night. So I'll repeat my same answer. Before surgery my circle of friends was quite small and my very good friends were spread all over the United States, so I didn't have many friends to just hang out with or chat with over coffee. But now I'm so involved in the WLS community and have spread my wings into other hobbies and areas of interest (photography, knitting, college) -- my circle of friends has grown so much! Folks from here on OH and my 3 different support groups - you all are wonderful and I love you all so much! Thank you for filling my life with blessings.

Finished my coffee with protein and am now wondering what I'll have next...
QOTD: I have had many life changes over the past year - from the WLS surgery a year ago, to losing to my goal weight to getting a divorce. But - I am thankful for all that the changes have brought me, even though they haven't always been easy to deal with.
I'm also very thankful for my kids. My daughter is one of my best friends, and even though we talk almost every day, I miss her dearly since she lives "downstate". My son is a wonderful young man who has a very bright future in front of him and I'm proud of both of them.

Doing 8 hours of overtime today after midnight shift . ..boy do I look bad . .
Working midnights and then staying over has my eating all messed up so I am just
having water this morning.
QOTD - I am thankful and blessed that my daughter who is once again traveling the world is having safe travels. My son has custody of my grand-daughter and are both happy and healthy.
For my new man friend . . (which I'm still not ready to say to much out loud . . because it doesn't seem real), for my family and friends and OH friends for there support.
Have a great day!
