Monday Morning Coffee

Good afternoon all!

since its afternon - my coffee is long gone (wish I had more)....

QOTD:  I probably won't put any decorations up this year.  My son doesn't really care for them and since it would be just me enjoying them, not sure if I want to go through the work.  We'll see...  they're still all over at the ex's and really I don't want to sort through them - lol.

 

Well, it's way past morning coffee, but I did just have some afternoon coffee!  Didn't do a whole lot this weekend....a few things around the house/deck.

QOTD:  I don't do decorations.  LOL!  We don't even put up a tree.  Every year, we are at my inlaws for Christmas, usually heading there on the 23rd or so.  So what's the point of putting out decorations at home?  I have a feeling, though, as Western gets older, that will all change!  I may buy a fake tree after Christmas, this year, as I'm always afraid a real tree will catch on fire (yes, I'm overly paranoid about such things).  

Hello everyone.

I have been just tootling around to day so I am just getting  to OH at 4 pm. Wow

I went to take hubby to his truck and then stopped at Salvation Army store. I found some Tupperware containers that I will use for Thanks giving stuff. On was brand new and still had tag on it. then I found my daughter some size 12 jeans and  a couple of blouse.

the week end was very nice. DH and I bought a rotisserie for our new grill. Went to the grocery and got  a beef roast pork roast and whole chicken.  I put all three on that baby and let them cook for a few hours.  So I sent a bunch of  cooked me with hubby when he went  out today. so he can have some home cooked stuff instead of truck stop food all the time. I enjoyed my rotisserie chicken leg. And cooking out side.

QOTD: We usually don't put decorations up until after Dec 4Th because that is my son b-day and The day that we were going to put up our stuff I went into labor. So our tradition is to put up our stuff  the week end after his birthday. I also did it because I was a January baby and I always felt cheated cause of the Birthday/Christmas things. Now that he is older it don't matter so much but I still wait till after his B-day.
