Good Morning,
I can say it is a good morning finally.  I have been sick the last couple of days.  I am on the mend now and am so thankful.  Right now I am having some crystal light.  QOTD:  Thanksgiving will be traditional as it is every year.  This year I am cooking for my family and some friends.  Dinner will be 9 to 10 people and dessert will be 16 or 17.  The menu this year is:  Turkey with cornbread dressing and sage dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, deviled eggs, baked beans, corn, asparagus, sweet potatoes, stuffed celery, veggie pizza, spinach dip and rolls.  Dessert pumpkin pie, sweet potatoe pie, and 5 cup salad.

That is my friends recipe and I think it is cottage cheese, jello, marshmellows, pineapple and walnuts all mixed together.

Good morning everyone!

I had about 16 oz of SF Grape and then a few bites of ham for breakfast.  The ham isn't setting too well.  It's amazing to me how some things I can eat a lot of and one or two bites of dense protein only and I am stuffed.  I love how that works.  But this isn't really stuffed, this is borderline felling like I could get sick :-(

QOTD:  We do have a traditional dinner at my mom and dad's every Thanksgiving.  There are six of us kids in the family, so by time all the spouses and kids are included, we end up having 22 poeple.  My mom makes the turkey, stuffing and mashed & Sweet potatoes and the rest of us bring the rest.  We all have our specialties.  Mie is the green bean casserole.  So I am making that and cheese brocolli caserole.  My sister couldn't show up if she didn't bring her pumbkin rolls!  They are fabulous and we all look forward to them every year.

Have a great day everyone!

Hey Everyone!

Just getting ready to head out in a couple of hours for a fun filled day of toting kids around. Should be fun huh? LOL NOT

QOTD: I am like Brenda I am VERY picky! I only eat turkey, corn and mashed potatoes and now after surgery I cannot eat the potatoes. LOL

I am not a thanksgiving person. The only holiday I like is Christmas... So I could just stay home and treat thanksgiving as any other day and it would be fine with me.

We are heading over to my inlaws though for dinner. We will stay home in the morning and watch the parade with Piggy and then hang out for awhile. The day after thanksgiving we always put up our christmas tree so I will probably get into the attic on Turkey day and get that stuff out and moved.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning!

SOOOoooo glad it's Friday!  It's been a very long week.  I'm planning to hit the coffeehouse in Frankenmuth tonight after work.  They've got some live music scheduled and I'd like to chance to just sit and relax for a bit before my busy weekend.

Celebrating???  The secretaries are having a baby shower for one of the other secretaries.  It should be fun.  I was up WAY too late (2am) last night finishing her gift.  I made her a custom shadowbox frame in the colors/theme of her nursery -- she just bought a big fancy camera (like mine) and I'm sure she'll have tons of pictures after the baby is born, so the frame will let her display a few of her favorite.  I should have taken a picture of it before I wrapped it.  It's cute!

QOTD -- We always do the traditional Thanksgiving feast.  If you'd call it traditional, I guess.  We are all assigned a dish to pass (or two) then we meet at some relative's house and eat all day.   There are rarely leftovers though... since everyone takes home their own dish to pass.  So I'll have leftover scalloped corn and pumpkin fluff.   We'll have about 20 people gathered at my cousin's house this year.

I had my coffee.  I went to the doctors and they used the REGULAR cuff today :)  I also fit into some of my 12 yo dtrs XL tee shirts.  They fit nice but I still like them looser.  That way you don't see that tummy roll lol as bad.

QOTD:  Still no plans.  Usually we have dinner with my mom.  This year she will be at her moms taking care of her.  We haven't seen much of her since her mother almost died several weeks back.  I am not such a good cook, nor do could I afford to go out and buy the stuff to do it.  So I might try to find a buffet or something for me and the kids.  Either that or make a cheaper version with boxed stuffing, etc.  I am not that much of a cook like I said.
