Well, hubby is finally coming home.  Can't wait for him to get here permanently.  I'm so happy he retired.  The stress in his life will be gone (except me).

QOTD:  Have you made a goal for yourself?  What are you working toward?  When do you expect to get there?
I know it's vain, but my goal right now is a size 10.  I'm pretty sure I'll make it there by February.  I'm going to buy size 10 jeans today so I can keep checking.

It is what it is.
If He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it...

Hi Jan and everyone!
Glad your hubby is finally making the move north with you!
Go get those size 10 jeans, girl. You will get there!!!
QOTD-Those last ten pounds! They are so frustrating. Maybe it won't happen and I'll need to accept where I'm at. Want to be there by my birthday in January...
Well time to get the coffee brewing.

Good Morning jani and all who follow

congratulations to Gary and Jani who will be living like love birds why up there.

Had some Cheerios and milk, was out of skim so used the kid 2%. I got kind of sweaty for a few minutes then it went away. going to do some water aerobics today.

QOTD: my goal was to have weight loss surgery. Now I get on the scale and hope it goes down.
I guess I should make a goal. I have one for when I lose 100 lbs. but have not made a reward yet.

Have a great gorgeous, gracious, gregarious day, and keep safe!

Good Morning Jan and everyone.

I'm at work, watching it rain.  I realized last night that I can eat anything in the world, with any amount of sugar, as long as I don't have it with milk.  For some reason, milk+any sugar makes me do anything from mini to major grand mal dump.  Lesson learned, and it only took me 3 years!

QOTD-I guess my goal is to quit gaining weight, and get down to my original post-surgery goal weight.  I don't know if that will ever happen, since it's still a lot to lose, but maybe if I do have revision it will happen.

Hope you all have a good day!

Hey Randy,
I am looking at tightening up the old pouch and stoma.
I couldn't do lap band....I'm too squeamish to get the fills, and having a "port" really creeps me out!
I have heard good things about the "band over bypass" too, but it's just not for me.

Good morning all!

I'm so glad it's raining.  Better than snow, right?  Remember where we were this time last year?  Let's all send gifts to the weather gods and request that the snow holds off until Christmas.  I remember coming home from my FL vacation last year in November and being hit by snow within a few days of being home.  Quite the shocker.  So I'm glad things are mild and unseasonably warm right now... and I'll take rain over snow anyday!

QOTD -- Goals?!  Well... I set the goal to exercise 4 days a week and proclaimed it to the support group this week.  That was 2 days ago and I haven't exercised yet.  With my crazy schedule, that probably wasn't a wise goal to set, huh? I haven't been home before 9:30pm any day this week - which is pretty typical.   But I'm going to give it my best shot.  I still have my gym membership and need to figure out at least one day a week when I don't have something going on after work and hit the weight machines there.  And I've got a Pilates DVD that I want to try out as well as the resistant bands and DVD that I haven't given a fair shake yet.  Bought the part to fix my treadmill, but haven't installed it yet, so need to get that done too.  The opportunities are there -- just need to schedule it.  :-)

Pam - love the picture in your post!  So pretty....just glad it's a picture and not the real oustide right now!

Hey, I joined Seung-Ni Fitness after going with a friend for a free visit.  OMG, I love it.  I am adicted!  I'll email you their web page.  They have locations in Midland, Saginaw & Bay City.  They offer Kickboxing and Body Sculpt classes.  I go to the Body Sculpt classes which is an hour long, working with weights to sculpt your body.  I go 4-5 times a week and have noticed a HUGE difference since I've started going. They offer many classes throughout the day - even one at 5:45 am!

Anyways, I know you are very busy but if you ever want to go and try it out, let me know.  You can bring a friend for two free visits.  Or you could just go into the Bay City one and tell them you want to try the two free visits.  I did do the kickboxing class ONCE.  I want to go to that more often because it's great cardio, I was just so uncoordinated.

Let me know if you ever want to give it a try!

Ok... checked out their website.  They have SO many classes!  It'd be a great weekend thing for me -- and they even have Zumba which I've been wanting to try out.  Definitely worth a try.  Thanks for linking me up!
