Good Morning All,
I just changed pant sizes. I now have the start of a muffin top.  I have high waist pants and lower waist pants.  It is there on both.  Have any of you tried shape wear??  If so what kind did you like and what kind did not??  I knew I would end up with excess skin but it showed up sooner than I thought.  I do not have much muscle tone in my stomach because it has been a high traffic area.  I have had many surgeries and I have been cut from belly button down 4 times. I really do not like the muffin top look.

Thanks for any input.

I have bought several different items and the following are my favorites.

I just bought ASSETS® by Sara Blakely® Womens Fantastic Firmers Tank at Target-$20.00.  I like this alot. Like the price, like the fit, like the comfort. I wear it with my bra.  It is shaped like a tee shirt so it really helps with the back fat  that buldges under my arms from my bra.  Doesn't smooth out all the bra lines but does a good job.  If you wore it without a bra I am sure it would work great, but I am a 38DD so need the extra help.  Controls muffin top really well!!!

If I am wearing something that I do not want any lines at all but a smooth tight body I use this shapewear:

I have the Tankee Long $85.00.
Wonderful support but pricey so I only have one.  Very comfortable.  I save this for when not a bulge or bump will do.

Cheryl,
Since I'm basically cheap, I didn't want to spend the money on Spanx, so I went to either Walmart or Meijers and bought tank shappers by Sweet Nothings, and the bottoms by Leggs.  I love the tank shapers.  They don't feel like I'm trying to hold things in, are very comfy, but hold the blubber in.  I'm sure they were right around $15.00.  Found them by the bras and girdles.  Fit my budget very well.

Hi Cheryl,
I have kind of a weird body issue.  I had my TT, but just on the lower pani part.  So my giant puffball is still on my upper abdomen.  It's hard to find stuff to hold that in.  Usually it's a full body thing, or lower belly stuff.
I bought a Spanx tank top/undershirt that is made of a spandex blend that holds on that in.  Not perfect, but it stops everything from jiggling.  It's long enough to tuck in to my pants.

I bought mine on QVC, but I know Lane Bryant (not sure if you are in plus sizes or not) sells the Spanx brand.  Kohl's also has another brand of these that is cheaper than Spanx.  I just saw them yesterday.  They come in black, nude, or red.
