Saturday morning coffee
Coming out of lurkdom to post.. As a hot air balloon enthusiast I grab any opportunity to fly or crew when I can. Today some were going to fly (before the bullets do) up in the Saginaw area. So there I was on top of the Zilwaukee Bridge about 7:00am when I got the dreaded cancellation call. "TOO WINDY" the pilot said. "CRAP" I said. "Now what do I do?"
Well I kept driving and ended up atthe casino in Standish. After contributing to their economy I then headed back towards home, but made a few stops along the way. One being Frankenmuth to get my chocolate cheese fix at the Cheese Haus, then onto Birch Run to look for shoes. What a zoo that was and it was only 10:00!! Cars were starting to back up on the X-way ramp ect. Then I hit Genessee Valley Mall to price compare and guess what ladies? Schetchers (sp) shoe prices are the same EVERYHWERE. No deal at the outlet malls for them that is for sure. Even the buy one, get half off on the next pair is at Genessee Valley too. So save yourselves the trip up to Birch Run and shop locally. Oh yeah.. The pair I want were cheapest at Macy's!!! by $5.00

You are 3 lbs from goal....that is amazing. Do you know how many of us don't make "goal", I didn't, but I am still thrilled to be where I am, but damn girl, I would LOVE to be 3 lbs from my goal.
