OT: sugar free Apple Oatmeal cobler

sugar free Apple Oatmeal cobler

Ingredients

Apples, fresh, 4 large (2 granny smith and 2 golden delisous) pealed cored and sliced in thich slices
Instant Oatmeal Weight Control oatmeal , plain, 2 serving
sugar free cinamon Hard Candy-6 pieces, broken or crushed
Corn Starch, 1 TBspn
*Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, 1/2 cup
*Lemon Juice, 2 fl oz
Margarine butter blend, 1/2 stick
Ginger, ground, 1 tbsp
Cinnamon, ground, 2 tbsp
Nutmeg, ground, 1 tsp

1 mixe cornstarch, spices, splenda brown, and 1 package of oatmeal in a small bowl

2. place prepared apples in a large bowl. toss lemon juice

3. mix spice oatmeal mixture in with apples.

4. put apple mixture in a ceramic baking dish.

5 Top with remaining instant oatmeal packet

6 sprinkle broken Cinamon candy on top

7 dot with butter

8 Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes.

9 remove from oven and let rest for 20 to 30 minutes.

makes 10 (1/2 cup) servings.

Sounds delish.  My cousin loaned me her Splenda cookbook tonight.  I skimmed thru it and there are a lot of recipes I need to copy.
I also need to check eggface for protein baking.
It is what it is.

I'd use the Weight Control oatmeal which is higher in protein.

Yes Your correct I just didn't name it by name.

and if you want it more moist only use one package  divided in half. mix one half in and top with the other.
