Good Morning everyone and Danielle!
Trying to wake up. Will be brewing my black decaf real soon..
QOTD-The most beautiful place I've been is Yosemite National Park and the Grand Canyon-absolutely breath taking. My most extravagent place I've been is to the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. The two other extravagent places I've been to is Salzburg Austria and Munich. Makes me want to travel......

Today is day 5 out of surgery for me... trying to choke down banana sugar free pudding with protein in it and taking all my vitamins and meds. I must say the pudding is nasty, can't stand the flavor of the protein in it! (Gee and I have 8 more 3 oz containers to eat up!!) Going to move on to my Muscle Milk in an hour or so and see if that is any better. Ran out of my Slim Fast low carbs, those are good. Trying to get this protein and liquid in, had a really bad day yesterday (emotionally and physically).

QOTD: I went to Venice, Italy when I was 19 years old to visit my sister when she was stationed in the Army. It was beautiful and I would love to go back one day. At 19, wasn't too interested in the "sights" only the partying and the guys! lol
Danielle, I would love to get some recommendations on the camping places you've been, we are campers and always looking for new places!
Have a great day all!

Try adding some flavor to your pudding.  I would try carmel or chocolate.  Maybe try freezing it, until its really cold or totally frozen and eat it like ice cream.  Worse case, thin it with some milk, plug your nose and drink as much as you can before the flavor****  Hopefully that will help.

It does get better.

Howdy and good morning everyone.  I'm at work, drinking some tea.  Had a sf instant breakfast earlier this morning.  I am disheartened today because once again, I've gained some weight.  Not sure what did it this time....I've been pretty careful about what I'm eating.  My super fat pants are tight today :(

I lived in Germany, but I didn't see anything cool or touristy.  I think the only extravagant place I've been was Vegas when I got married.  We flew in on Friday, got married, and came home, so I didn't see much, but I would love to go back.  I abhor camping, but have done it when I had to with scouts or family.

Hope you all have a great day.  We're at the 10th of November and it's still sunny and mild out, so be thankful!

Brenda,

My heart goes out to you with your weight gain.  I had a 2 pound gain, but I know what it is from.  Still don't like it, but with the one med I am on it leaves me "backed up."   How much fiber can one consume in a day?

Hugs to you

Pam

Awww thanks Pam :)
I had breakast at Ikea on Saturday and had some home fries....I just hate that one little thing like that will start me gaining again so fast.

I can't help you with the fiber issue....things are moving just fine here..LOL

Thanks for the nice words.

Try probiotics.  My surgeon said it would be good for me.

Nothing yet this morning.  Just don't feel like anything yet.  I've got a lot to do in the next five days before heading downstate again for three days (poker with the girls and two doctors appts)
QOTD:  We loved camping in Michigan.  So many beautiful spots.  Lake Gogebic in the UP was really peaceful.  Copper Harbor is beautiful.  PJ Hoffmaster and Ludington were nice parks too.  I've been to europe a couple of times, but the most unusual place I've been is Tangiers, Morocco in northern Africa.  We went to the Casbar and had lunch at the sheiks palace.  Loved loved loved the Grand Canyon too, it brought me close to God...  Now that Gary is retired we're going to do more traveling in the U.S.  Friends in Idaho want us to come out, and from their pictures it's really a beautiful state.  I always said 'who the heck moves to Idaho?'  Now I can see why.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning fellow Michiganders!
Sipping on some hot Pumpkin coffee, then onto some water for the rest of the day.
Had some Atkins protein drink this morning since my kitchen is all discombobulated with Hummer hanging dry wall and adding more Hickory cabinets...dang my dishwasher is moved and I had to do dishes last night in the bathroom sink! LOL
By this weekend I'll have my stove, kitchen sink and my dishwasher in it's rightful place!!
Did I tell you how much I love that man??? He's a keeper.

QOTD: I think Up North is the prettiest place to be, I love the peace and quiet. I love going camping. I have been on a Panama Canal Cruise and a Caribbean Cruise. Leaving next Friday on another Caribbean Cruise (free styling this time). Been to Vegas 3 times, it's okay but I don't like to gamble....camping is still my fav!
