Velcro Band Wrap

My surgeon had the hospital nurses put this white velcro band wrap around my stomach.  I need to know from all my michiganders who had the rny surgery, if you had this band wrapped around your stomach and how long did you use it?

Hi!  How are you feeling?  I did have that wrap and it annoyed me.  I  took it off the morning after I got home.  For me I don't think it really did much.

Hey Laura I'm sore off and on and that is when I take the liquid vicodin as prescribed and when I don't take it.  I think the pain in my left side hurts more when I stand from sitting.  Regarding the band, I find it being rather helpful.  When I was trying to pass my first bm, I know tmi, i hurriedly took it off due to constipation, but yet I'm hanging on.  I came home from the hospital, the next following evening.
