Just wanted to let everyone know to MOVE ON OVER!!!!
I'm gonna be joining you all tomorrow morning!!! My surgery is scheduled at 7:30am.  I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am! Lucky me, get the early bird slot!!
I cannot believe its finally here! I mean its not DAYS now that I'm counting down, or WEEKS... its HOURS!!!! I started this journey exactly a year ago and its here!! Yes I'm scared shirtless!! But I trust my surgeon and anesthesiologist (cuz its his job to wake us up right!!!) will take good care of me!  So I'm gonna be surfing on here for a bit, then double checking everything I need to still do at home before I leave the kiddos for a few days! Take care all and I will post as soon as I can!

Let me tell you how excited I was and when the surgery was over the nurses and pca's were so helpful in encouraging me to walk several hours later.  The more you walk, the more you're expediting the healing process.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and trust and believe you will be fine.  I claim right now on your behalf that nothing will occur before, during and after your surgery in Jesus name!!!

How are you doing I had surgery the same day only at 10am. Had lapband  revised to RNY due to no wt. lose since I got it 20 mo.s ago. Having no problems with liquids hot or cold and the lortab is good for the pain. Had a pain pump until we took it out last night. I'm on clear liquids until Fri. Then if all looks good with my appt. can go to mushies for 4 weeks. The most important things to do are take your vitamlns and get the protein in and fluids.  Friends have told me about Bariatric Advantage chewable vitamins and Celebrate Calcium chews are good. Those will make or break you. A good high protein yogurt is FAGE.  It's greek yogurt and has  20grms  of protein in a serving. I use it like sour cream on baked potatoes. I plan to make like cheesecake with it in sugarfree pudding substituting some of the milk with it.. May also use some in shakes. Also in my casseroles with my ground meat. Best investment I've made is in a Magic Bullet. It's a small blender with 4 cups and 2 blades. I got mine at Walgreen. It makes great shakes and crushes ice well. I plan to use it in my mushie phase to chop veggies and make shakes. Good Luck! Miss Jean

Hi there... well I'M HOME!!!
I tried sending you a message on here from my blackberry,
dont know if it went, the morphine was working great! lol Couldn't get a good signal on the laptop. So they ended up doing more than planned, I had a severe hiatel (sp?) hernia that he ended up removing too. Said it was one of the worst he's seen in a long time. (who knew!) And it extended from my esophagus to the top of my stomach and attached itself already. So lucky me gets to deal with double the pain now!  I'm actually not doing too too bad. I think I overdid
it just now and need to go lie back down. (Or sit in my recliner is more like it!) Just wanted to let you know I was alive and thinking about everyone!  Take care, I'll check in later
