Good Morning everyone!
I just got to work and was surprised to see no one had posted yet.

I am drinking some sf Purple Smash-FYI Walgreens has the box of single serve Hawaiian Punch for $1!

So what's everyone doing today?  I am just trying to get caught up at work.  I hate Wednesdays!

QOTD-What are you most afraid of?  Me?  Something happening to my kids.  And bugs/mice/rodents, etc.

Have a good day!

Morning

I am drinking my Crystal Light and just had my toast for breakfast... We are hunkering down and not going anywhere today. We have a busy week next week with doctor and dentist appts so I am trying to get rest before it gets hectic.

I am going to try to get the house cleaned up a bit and mop my floors.

QOTD: My biggest answer to this question is not living life to the fullest.. I always want to get the most out of everything and every experience. I want to experience every season, every emotion and life in general.. I am scared of mice, and spiders.. I hate alot of bugs too.. I am also scared of driving in between two semis on the freeway.. I am not sure why it freaks me out but it does!

Have a great day everyone!

Morning, everyone. I have been able to eat and drink far too much since my band was loosened a month ago.  I have 1.5 CC back of the 2 CC they took out, but it still isn't enough, so I have many cups of coffee each morning, along with late night snacks and a 4 pound weight gain.  Hoping for restriction with my next fill......

QOTD-What are you most afraid of?   I'm with you, Brenda.  If anything happened to my daughter I don't think I could go on.  And I am terrified of roaches.  Other bugs and spiders don't bother me, but I live in terror of taking a roach home and becoming infested.  I once had one crawl on my head while lying in bed in a motel. I screamed so loud everyone thought I was being murdered.  What a sissy!

This is a reply to both Judy and Suzanne-
I am so freaked out by being next to a semi and those cement walls on the freeway.  (Actually, all freeway driving really scares me).  I hate driving 94 near Jackson because of the narrow lanes and that dumb wall.  When I was in college, I was driving on a really icy day and the driver next to me (I was in the left lane next to the wall) slid into my lane.  I hit the wall and flipped over, landing on the other side of the freeway facing the wrong way.  Since then, this terrifies me!

And, not to keep throwing crazy stories at you guys, but....when I moved to North Carolina with stupid (now ex) hubby, we moved in to a cheap apartment.  It was the only thing we could afford, and it was basically a strip of drug/prostitution apartments.  We were sleeping on the floor, and I always felt stuff crawling on me.  I decided to let off a bug bomb one day when my DH was out on maneuvers.  I came home like 10 hours later and was cleaning up.  A roach the size of my whole hand (NOT EXAGGERATING) crawled out from under my oven.  I didn't know what to do.  It was too big to squish.  It was moving really slow because it was dying.  I slept in my car that night, and then moved in to a somewhat less nasty trailer the next day.  It was gross as well, but at least it had a bed off of the floor.

Too bad we didn't know each other then or knew we lived like a couple miles from each other, you coulda stayed with me!!!!!  AJ was out in the field half the time, anyways.  We didn't have roaches, that I ever saw, but had a HUGE problem with fleas....ugh.  You just never got a break from them (the only good thing about cold weather!).  My one friend, that lived a couple blocks from me had a roach issue, too.  She was form Cali and claimed they "didn't have bugs like that in Cali."  Yeah, whatever...I was always afraid I was going to bring them back to my apartment from her trailer.  ICK!

Good morning to all.
Happy Hump Day.

After work, it's spin class and Deborah B. will be joining me in an hour of fun and gabbing while we are spinning, drives the trainer wild but we have catching up to do!

QOTD: "I ain't afraid of no Ghosts"! ...but I am afraid of gaining weight back. It's always in the back of my mind. Yep, I have embraced lifestyle change and love to exercise. Having failed at all other weight loss attempts keeps me humble. Yes, I have to exercise to keep my weight off.

I'm going on a cruise Nov. 20th-29th...surrounded by food 24/7.

I will try to reach for my mate instead of my plate...don't debate, keep the weight off!!!
Okay, I have my game plan in place. I will exercise everyday. I will dance every night. I"m not a big drinker, never have so alcohol consumption is not a problem for me.
I will have shrimp ****tail every night and do the sit down dinner, they can bring me my food portions and I will have them serve me 1/4 portions and use a small plate. I can do this...I will do this...I'm accountable for what I put in my mouth!

Happy HUMP Day!

Deb,

I went on a cruise last year....I ate everything I wanted, I just imitated myself to a few bites (except my protein, that I ate normal portions of).  I knew the next day there would be more great food choices, so no need to over do it today.  And I didn't gain a pound! (first time on a cruise to do that!)  I also made sure I worked out allot too!

Good luck and have a great time,

Edie

Thanks Edie.
I did a 15 day cruise 6 months before my WLS, with watching what I ate and exercising and dancing everyday I only gained 3 pounds. I was really proud of myself for that one!

P.S. I will still reach for my mate instead of my plate! LOL

Nice new Avatar Brenda.  I looked at the pic and wondered who posted this morning!  Isn't it amazing how much we change in just a matter of weeks/months?
I'm going to have to try the purple smash.  Who makes it?  I'll get to Walgreen this afternoon to get some Hawaiian Punch too.  I'm getting tired of the CL.  It's really hard for me to get in the water in the colder weather.  Don't know what I'm going to do.
QOTD:  If I'm thinking deeply, losing my husband, Gary is something I can't fathom.  On the lighter side, I'm afraid of heights and spiders.  I can deal with snakes and rodents, but put a spider by me and I'll scream like a little sissy.  It was really funny to see a big fat lady screaming over a little tiny spider.  When you think about it, it really is stupid, but there's no rationalization when it comes to me and spiders!

It is what it is.
