Good Morning everyone!

Grape protein drink in my cup this morning.  I have been "off track"  as of late.  I am trying to get back to basics.  Water, protein and vitamins.

QOTD~  I think I would of went into social work for children or working with children that are developmental disabled.  I work with adults that are developmentally delayed now, and I love my job, but I think I would of really liked to work with them when they were children.

Hope you all have a terrific tuesday!

Good morning Everyone

Coffee tastes way too good this morning.  Maybe because I got a great night sleep.

QOTD - I love being an accountant, but now having a 6 year old and everything we are working with the school, sometimes I wish I would have went into elementary education.  Our elementary principal is the best.  He has helped us so much, and we could not ask for more.  He is more than just a good administrator, he is very good with the kids.  We have a small school, but he takes the times to get to know all the kids.

Have a great one

Pam

Good Morning All!

I am working on my water this morning and packing my things at my parents . . I think the party is over now and it is time for me to go back home and join the real world.  I will still be seeing the doctor every other day for the next week as I still have an opening in my tummy and she needs to keep an eye on it.  But I am ready to head back to work and become productive once again.

QUOTED- I went to beauty college when my children were little but I would have loved to be a science teacher for 5Th graders.  I do love my job now and  hope to retire from it there is always lots of action.  I don't do hair much anymore because I am so busy . . . but when I'm cruising the halls of the hospital I make sure mine looks good . . .Lil   for you PAM T

Enjoy your day . . the sun is shinning!

Having a relaxing morning before going out for some appointments and meeting a friend to go walking for awhile.  Since we pretty much hang out and talk, lately we have been doing it while walking around Quarton Lake in Birmingham which is really pretty.

QOTD:  In real life, I love teaching. which is my career now (when I'm not laid off).  However, in dream world, I always wanted to host the Today Show.  I thought it would be great.  You could meet all these different people in government, entertainment and everything else.
In college, I also had a fantasy about being the Press Secretary and working at the White House, but as I've gotten a little older and lost some of my idealism I just can't stomach the idea of working in politics. Although, I have considered going back and getting a P,h.D. in Educational Reform so I could do some of the idealistic stuff at a  University, especially when I have bad days in the classroom!

It is good afternoon now for me...Had yogurt and coffee for breakfast. I cheated and had 1/2 of a scone too...it was ok, but, not as good as I had hoped.

QOTD: I would have loved to be a writer or a photo journalist. I have always loved police work too. I actually had fun at one time corresponding with a friend and exchanging erotic stories we wrote..woohoo...talk about living in fantsasy land...Oh well...Back to the Real World....

Good Afternoon All,

Today is a little odd for me.  My schedual at work got moved around some and for the next two days I am working 6pm till 2 am.  Tonight wil be the hardest.

QOTD:  I would love to do private investigating.  My oldest daughter was a real handfull and during that time I had a lot of stealthy investagting to do.  I tapped my phones, set boobie traps and followed her without getting caught.  Even though it was hard times(she was into some bad stuff) I found myself enjoying all the sneeky stuff.  lol

My father in law was a PI, for a while, after he retired from the state as a probation/parole officer.  We did some stakeouts for him from time to time...watching houses for people coming and going...nothing too serious.  It was interesting, at times.

I'm late today too Danielle, but its fun to look at everyone responses.  Kristy, you look like a beautician-edgy and gorgeous.  And Tina, it is wonderful that you are enjoying motherhood so much-little Dub is a cutie.  And Randy, I am so envious of your ability to retire-maybe someday!

QOTD- What do you wish you would have done as a job if you could have done anything?
I am a palliative care nurse practitioner, and I love my job-best one I ever had and I hope to keep it until I retire or drop dead, whichever is cheaper.  But I would have gone to medical school if I could have-never even considered it as an option due to the cost, the length of time until I would have earned a paycheck, and sex role stereotypes from the day.
