Just wanted to thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers . . I know they helped.

What a long haul this has been not only do I have cellulitis but I had an abscess in my lower tummy that broke last Tuesday the day after my incision tore open from the swelling . ..  sorry if TIM . .  around the clock antibiotics for 7 days has me on the road to recovery . . I want to be able to start enjoying my new tummy.   My doctor seems to feel that my infection came up my last drain tube and settled in my lower abdomen.

They are keeping an small part of my incision open for drainage as I still have some infection yet but I will be going every other day to my family doctor for wound care and continuing on oral antibiotics for 10 days and then go from there.

It feels good to be back.
Thanks again,

Kristy

I am so happy  you are better. Thank goodness you went to the hospital when you did.
I hope your recovery is steady from now on.

Welcome home.
