Happy Halloween everyone!
What do you have in your ghoulish mug this spooky morning? Coffee for me!
What is going on at your mansion this weekend? No trick-or-treating for me, but will be passing out treats for the tricksters. Will be doing water aerobics with my BFF, Deb, this morning. Have to get ready to go to Louisianna Sunday for a short work assignment Monday and Tuesday. So will be a busy Saturday!!!
Have a great Halloween, everyone!

Good morning Deb and everyone.I am having turkey sausage eggs and cheese this am then on to the coffee that is brewing.
We are trunk or treating in two spots this evening. The locals park at the communty center and pass candy from their decorated vehicles. They think this is safer than the kids walking the neighborhoods and going to strangers houses. Then we will check out another community center that has treats and hay rides usually. They also have costume contests and games and such inside the centers.Pretty fun for the boys.Hope the rain stays at bay.Have a safe trip Deb.Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween morning to you all!

I am up getting Nick ready to go for a blood draw.....how appropriate for Halloween!  I took the dog out for a walk late last night.  It was fun walking around in the dark and the rain and looking at everyone's Halloween decorations.  Tonight we're passing out stuff to the kids and hanging out at home.

I have Martha Stewart on in the background and she's making homemade blue cheese crackers.  This made me think of stuff my mom did on Halloween when we were little.  We ordered pizza for dinner, then my mom put out a spread of broiled cinnamon donuts, cider, candy and caramel apples, apple pie, pumpkin pie, and cookies.  This was in addition to the ****tails and snacks for the adults.  Who the heck makes all that junk when their kids are going out gathering bags and bags of candy?  Another clue in why I ended up being 300+ lbs.!!

Have a fun day everyone!

Good Morning,

Decaf hot tea for me this morning.  I have to work so my oldest son and his girlfriend are taking my youngest son out.  I am sure they will fight the entire night.  As long as they get their candy I am sure they will muttle through.  My son also has had on his costume early this morning.

Have a great day.

Not doing a whole lot today.  Been cleaning around the house here and there.  Had my coffee this AM and then some leftover meatloaf a little later.

QOTD:  We are going into town to walk around with my BIL and SIL and nephews, as they trick or treat.  We'll probably order some pizza and come back home after that.  We are meeting at 4.  I don't know about all of you, but when I was a kid, we trick or treated in the dark!  None of this afternoon, broad daylight trick or treating!

A yummy can of Slim-Fast low carb to start off for me... DAY 3 of Liquid Hell Diet!!  I think today is going to be the worst day, I woke up with my stomach growling! Went out and bought a digital scale last nite to torture myself. But surprisingly, if the thing is correct, I am down 5 pounds!! Wooo Hoooo!!
My son has been wearing his costume for the past 3 days after school. He can't wait to paint his face tonite. He's a Marine and absolutely loves dressing up. He asked since its actually "real" clothes if he can still wear it all after Halloween.  He says he wants to be a sharp shooter when he growns up! (Is that normal for an 11 year old to think of??!!  But he's been infatuated with the armed forces since he was 3. I guess I better prepare myself for that!

So getting ready to carve pumpkins, roast some pumpkin seeds (ooohhhh I soooo wish I could eat some! I make the best seeds! lol Wonder if I can freeze them...) This will be the first year my son walks around trick or treating without me!  :(   He's asked for the first time this year to go with his friends!   I'll be staying home passing out candy.
They grow up wayyyy to fast!!

Hi everyone
Happy Halloween

I got woke up by a big gas pain that finally released. Barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooottt toot. so loud that the nurse at the desk started to laugh.

My breakfast was depression chicken soup and juice and jello and decaffeinated tea.

directions for depression chicken soup. fill a pot with boiling water take on chicken swi**** in for a second. put the chicken away for some other day. and spoon the soup into bowls for the patients to eat.

depression apple juice is the same thing.

I got released at around 12 noon. Been really wore out. so I will get to the details in a blog later.

Stitch and I are doing fine. We got some egg drop soup from the Chinese restaurant that I strained for dinner. After about 3 or 4 spoons I was full.

I wanted to thank everyone for there well wishes and support.
I am very surprised that This was not as painful as I imagined it would be.

How ever it does hurt to laugh. so take you pillow.
