Friday morning coffee and QOTD::
Howdy all. I've never done QOTD before because I've never been up early enough to beat you guys at it . LOL I'm getting ready to drink my coffeee with some protein in it . Rainy day here in Fenton so, I think I'll clean the house ....
QOTD : What was the strangest christmas gift you have ever received and do you believein regifting ?
My strangest gift was a smores maker, I TOTALLY believe in regifting. Ones mans junk is another mans treasure. as a matter of fact I regifted the smore maker. Last christmas my brother and sisterin law gave me an electricly heated coffee cup. I thought it was cool . When unwrapping it I realized it had been regifted to me because they left some wrapping paper on the bottom from when they received it LOL >>>> THEY GOT CAUGHT

Good Friday Morning y'all.
I am getting ready to go to my psych eval in Ann Arbor. It's a yucky rainy day here too. I am so glad it's Friday!
QOTD-I must be hard to buy for because I get strange stuff that is so "not me" all the time. My mom constantly buys me Betty Boop stuff, even though I do not collect it or have ever shown an interest in it. The strangest thing from her has to be the Betty Boop toilet seat. I live in a house with 3 guys, and she thought that would be a good gift for me.
As for regifting, I don't do it as a rule. I do give stuff away that I won't use, but I don't wrap it up and give it to someone else.

QOTD-The strangest gift I ever received was a pet rock from my brother and his wife. Didn't know what to do with it, so I took it back for a refund.
I don't believe in regifting unless it is for a white elephant present...

Good morning Tee and fellow Michiganders!! TGIF and it's payday Friday!! Wwhhhhhhhoooo!!
Oh yucky, it's rainy here in Kalamazoo and can't wait til 4:30 then I can go home.
Hubby is starting to remodel our kitchen, taking out walls, putting up drywall on one section today. Our Hickory cabinets will be delivered on Monday. I'm so excited about getting a new kitchen and we are saving tons of money cuz I have a fab hubby who can do it all! LOL
Today I dressed up along with some other crazy people here at Borgess. I have my 50's outfit on with some cool saddle shoes and I brought it all at the Discovery Shop (upscale resale store).
My hair is in pigtails and I have red lipstick on. It's fun to make people smile.
QOTD: Strangest gift? Can't remember one that sticks out in my mind...maybe cuz I'm strange! I do regift, make a new home for something and I betcha if you chose wisely the other person will love it. For example a guy in IT regifted a gift to me of a stuffed Santa that answered questions. Actually it was a gift of his wife who was a school teacher. Needless to say I kept it on my desk and made everyone ask Santa questions! LOL ...then Dave admitted it was a regift and was so glad that I was having a blast with Santa!

Seems like it's rainy all over Michigan today! So, my exciting news? I called my insurance company yesterday and my surgery has been approved. Just waiting on my surgeon's office to give me an official date! I'm really relieved about the insurance because if you get down to technicalities I didn't meet their requirements because I haven't had a BMI of over 40 for two years and don't have any comorbidities.
QOTD: My friends in college gave me what has to be about the ugliest snow globe ever put on this earth, but they knew it was a joke, so I'm not sure it counts. As for re-gifting, I've never done it, but would if the right cir****tances came up. I do tend to give away things I don't want to my friends. I love seeing them enjoy something that just sat around my house for ages and ages...

Morning all,
I feel so sorry for all the kids trying to get to school this morning in their Halloween costumes trying to dodge rain drops.
Q: My hubby has some VERY odd relatives, and for a wedding gift we were given a hot dog holder for the microwave and a plastic ketchup bottle with a brush on the end.....yowzer! I don't re gift, I'll just give it away to someone I know will like it.
