Good Morning Michiganders.

Well it is day 6 of the hell week diet. and Tomorrow will be clear liquid diet only. Surgery on Thursday.

I am having a Pineapple orange protein supplement from betterMD.com It is tastie.
What's in your cup?

QOTD: Who would you Like to make a toast to, for there stupendous acts? And What would you say?

I think mine would be to My DH. I would say how much I appreciate how loving and caring he is. Even though he is a man of few words. He always is supportive. He has never once made any bad remarks about my weight. He is sometimes a grouch, and a control freak, But he is also, always here for me and would give me the world if I said I wanted it.
I love you Kenny! (Boss Man)

QOTD:I would like to make a toast to my family and my coworkers.Everyone has been supportive of my weight loss journey.Making continuous comments and praises.I work in a nursing home. One of my residents daughters said the other day"Boy she needs to get rid of those pants doesn't she"I laughed and asked her if she was talking about me.She replied"Why of course you are doing so good you need to go shopping"It is very encouraging.I have bought a few new items but am waiting a while for a total new makeover. My hubby tells me I am beautiful all the time.He loved me fat and loves me healthier so what more could I ask for.My children like the fact I am more active and they can wrap their arms around me now.Have a great day everyone!

Morning all,

Just drinking some joe, then on to my shake and vites'.

Mary, you'll get there...it is so worth it, soon this will only be a memory.

Q:  My hubby too, not only has he been here through this journey (sorry Brenda, but it is a journey :)).  But I believe he saved my life when I had cancer.  He researched his heart out, insisted that the doctors try some newer cutting edge chemo's....  We picked up everything and went for a 2nd opinion in Texas and on top of that, he offered to move there during treatment if I wanted!  And he loves me more than anyone!

Have a great day all,

Edie

Edie -
After only meeting your hubby once a couple weeks ago... I'd have to agree with you.  He is a pretty good guy who obviously loves you to pieces.  You're one lucky woman!

I agree with Pam
All you need to do is look at him watching you and you know he's in love.

And he is a good guy too.

Good morning all -

It's only Tuesday?  I could swear it feels like it's gotta be about Thursday by now.  It's going to be a LONG day around here.

Prayer Request -- My grandmother is having hip replacement surgery tomorrow.  She's 80-something (84? maybe) and is nervous about the surgery.  After she gets out of the hospital she'll be stuck in a rehab center for 4-5 weeks doing physical therapy to get back to walking again.  She's been suffering with a broken hip for nearly 2 months now, so I'll be glad when the pain is over for her.   Here's a picture of Grandma.

QOTD -- I'd like to make a toast to my friend Ali for inviting me to Florida with her for the "sisters vacation" -- as part of the honorary family I'll be lounging on the beach for 9 beautiful days doing absolutely nothing but eating, reading and soaking up the sun.  I need this vacation more than I care to admit and I'm so grateful for the invitation.
