We have been dating since June and just have hit it off so well.  I guess when you get old like me all the crap falls away and only the important stuff remains.  He is very kind, supportive, employed, low-maintenance. We have talked about marriage and are just waiting for the right time to make it official.  My Michigan board buddies will be the first to know!

Good Morning All,
I am being lazy this morning.  Having my first 24 ounces of water.  Then I need to exercise and do some housework.  I think I will have an easy week since I have surgery on Friday.  QOTD:
I started shopping about 2 weeks ago.  This year there is alot of little ones to buy for.  They are all done and I am working on my 2 which are older.  I have 2 layways in 2 different Kmarts.  Wish Walmarts offered it.  Have a wonderful Monday all.

Good Morning All! (Or shall I finally say Good Afternoon!!)  Finally have a few minutes to read some posts!  Morning started out LATE, alarm didn't go off. Ugghh. Nothing like pushing my 11 year old to move even faster for school! Then I had to drive him because he already missed the bus. So Wednesday is my weigh-in/check-in day before I start my all liquid diet on Thursday. Surgery is next Thursday. Very anxious and nervous. Trying to stay positive. I'm sure its all just the pre-surgery jitters that everyone goes thru... right?!!!

QOTD:  I'm actually almost done with Christmas shopping. We are going to Florida this year and kind of "skipping" Christmas with my family. (Lots of drama went down and I wanted to get away). So I will be 6 weeks out for my vacation, I hope it goes well.  At least I'll be able to soak up some sun if I end up just laying on the beach!!  Went to Sam's Club this weekend and was very delighted to pick up a few gifts from there. Very happy about that.  I'm really only buying for my parents and giving them their gifts to my sister to give to them on Christmas.  The nieces/nephews get gift cards. So I'll have all those ready to be handed out on Christmas.  Kids are super excited to go to Florida. My daughter is 17 and my son is 11. It will be weird to wake up CHristmas morning though in a condo with no tree!! Who knows, maybe we'll all love it and make it a tradition from now on!!

Ok, now I'm rambling. Almost time for lunch. Work is getting busy. Can't wait to drink that Slim-Fast... not.   HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Good Morning MI OH family

The deer hunters car get out of the body shop today at 4 pm. I will be so happy, won't need to drive her to work in the dark cold 4 am morning. Yippee.

QOTD: NO. I don't have a lot of folks to buy for and my kids who are grown get a little gift to open and a big fat gift card that they can use to get what they like.  Last year I got them baby toys at the dollar store to open and 1000.00 bucks each. Hubby and I buy for each other all year long, so we just enjoy a nice quite family meal. I always have some generic type gifts on hand for when company comes. But since my surgery got moved up I will have some preparation to do when I get home. Guess I will be doing mine on the net this year.  or gift card for everybody. LOL

2 more days to go!

BTW: PamT your new picture on your Avatar is MARVELOUS!.

Two of my four kids will be getting their presents early.  One is going on a trip and needs a camera and the other needs a fridge.  Now that I think about it my son is getting his present early as well -- drivers ed.  That only leaves my 8 year old and my grand kids.  Star Wars for him and the grand kids (girls) get barbies and ponies.  It is much easier this year but just as expensive.  lol.  I like to buy things that are useful not just filler stuff.  So when you are 8 Star Wars is useful.  I will buy books , lego's and puzzles and then the action figures.  I love Christmas but 4th of July is my favorite.  I love fireworks and the derbies.
