As I've had a cold all week, I'm still on the tea in the mornings thing.  It really does help as my voice is going, although I feel MUCH better!

So, weekend plans..it's going to be a pretty quiet weekend, we're cleaning out the garage for a little while and then I'm meeting a couple of friends to watch the U-M/PSU game.   Go Blue!

Other than that, pretty much studying and laying low while hoping to ditch this cold for good!

Happy Saturday everyone!

my son and hubby have it too.
Hope you feel better.
They are using Tylenol Severe Sinus / congestion relief
they say they are getting good relief  form it. but you have to take it every 4 hrs.
and I don't know if Tylenol is OK for WLS people.

My little brother, who came home for college on fall break and brought these germs with him suggested Mucinex, especially because now my biggest problem is chest congestion.  It seems to be working fairly well (I took tylenol earlier this week when I was achy, feverish and whatnot ) and since I'm still pre-op (for better or worse) I can take whatever works.  I've heard you can take tylenol after WLS, as well as the Mucinex but it can't be an extended release or the 'D' formula, but maybe some of the veterans had better answer that question.

I'm at that crazy phase where I no longer feel terrible, but sound like a 10 year old boy and have those awful coughs that sound like I am coughing up my own lung, but the urge to curl up in bed all day is gone.  Hopefully a quiet weekend should be enough to kick this thing for good!

Good Afternoon
I have been on a sugar free lemondage kick again, I might mix it up later and have some sugar free Kool-aid. :) My pouch is having a fussy day today.  Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

QOTD - I have a sick baby.  Double ear infection with a fever and cough.  Poor guy.  So that's my agenda for the weekend.  I have been managing to keep my head above water with the laundry and house keeping, but barely.  Still looking for a halloween costume for max,  Im thinking either a horse or frakenstein.....Hmmmm

Kristy Hope you are on the mend!  take care of yourself :)
