Freaky Friday!
Good morning all!
Looking forward to our support group's Goodwill Shopping Field Trip tomorrow morning. There will be about 5 or 6 of us decending upon the store all looking for bargains on smaller clothes! WooHoo!
1. What's your favorite article of clothing?
My new JMS Jeans. Not only are they comfy, but they have this magical tummy slimming panel in the front. I get so many compliments in these jeans... and they make my butt look good too!
2. What were you like in high school?
Non-present. I went to Standish high school in 9th and 10th grade. For 11th grade my family moved and I went to a private school in Bay City. Then for senior year I wanted to go back to my old school, so I commuted every morning - but then went to skill center for half days. So I don't feel like I was really an active part of either my classmates in Standish or the few classmates at the private school in Bay City. Just kind of on the outskirts of both... so non-present.
3. Favorite smell?
Coffee brewing. Bread baking. Leaves burning.
4. Do you sleep with any lights on?
No. And I wish I had room darkening drapes in my bedroom to block out the excess light from the street. I like it dark.
5. Who is your biggest cheerleader in life?
My mom is #1. But also...sometimes my best friend when he's not ******g me off - but I always know he believes in me.

Here's a quick FFF:
1. What's your favorite article of clothing? Victoria Secrets Miracle Bra...need lots of help with "Millie and Maude"...the Ta-Ta's have fallen and can't get back up no matter how much I exercise!
(yes folks, I still want Deb's arms and boobies! LOL)
2. What were you like in high school? Very energetic even though I was "fluffy" sang in choir, musicals, talent shows...had lots of friends and hung out in crowds always. Was a "protector" to all, the principle would have me escort girls to the bathroom if needed, lots of turmoil in the 70's in our high school. Played powder puff football and even though I was fat, I loved gym. Never was intimated by changing in front of other girls. Drove kids home from parties if they were drunk. I was a "mama hen" in HS! This came from having my 18 yr. old brother killed in a car accident 3 day's before he graduated. I grew up fast, more mature in my senior year and my friend's parents knew this. We could drink at age 18 back then...not good at all!
3. Favorite smell? Oh yeah...puppy breath and babies...but popcorn comes in 3rd!
4. Do you sleep with any lights on? Nope, like it dark except when I have my "purple passion lights on" which are purple Christmas lights hung over our homemade bed made out of logs done by my artistic hubby...it's really pretty and I have my bedroom nicknamed "The Purple Passion Palace"...oh yeah...did I say I was a crazy girl????
5. Who is your biggest cheerleader in life? My BFF Deb and my hubby. Deb is kinda quiet and shy until you get to know her then it's Karaoke time when we spin! LOL

Enjoying my morning before heading out to get my haircut...I've been battling a cold all week so it's nice to be feeling better, with just a tickle of a sore throat.
As for the Questions of the Day...
. What's your favorite article of clothing? This one is a little tricky right now. I have this fabulous purply-pink rain coat that I adore, but it doesn't fit me anymore...one of the things I am looking forward to wearing after surgery..also, I love wearing scarfs (which always fit!) and I have a couple of those that I absolutely love.
2. What were you like in high school? In high school, I had a very tight knit group of friends but we hung out with what would best be described as the honors in-crowd. My friends and I were also the core of the Forensics team (competitive public speaking) but I was also involved in lots of other things at school, I was an all-area golfer, on the high school radio station and won a student Emmy for a public service announcement I made in video class.
3. Favorite smell? That's a close one for me..I love the smell of a rainy summer day but also that smoky Michigan Fall smell. And I guess we're getting a disturbing combination of both this morning!
4. Do you sleep with any lights on? No, but I have real trouble falling asleep in silence. Usually I go for my NPR podcasts on my iPod, but sometimes I leave the TV on for a bit.
5. Who is your biggest cheerleader in life? My Mom and my best friend (one of the tight knit group from high school!)

As for the Questions of the Day...
. What's your favorite article of clothing? This one is a little tricky right now. I have this fabulous purply-pink rain coat that I adore, but it doesn't fit me anymore...one of the things I am looking forward to wearing after surgery..also, I love wearing scarfs (which always fit!) and I have a couple of those that I absolutely love.

yes, being in a new house I am afraid I'd break my neck. I use the light on the microwave and one night light in the hall.

Morning all, Its almost noon actually.
Been extremely busy the last couple of weeks. I try to read posts once a day, but never seem to get time to post. But my days are flying by.
1. What's your favorite article of clothing? a tshirt style night gown from my really large days. it is a 5x and soft and perfect for lounging in.
2. What were you like in high school? shy and anti social.
3. Favorite smell? pies baking, pumpkin or apple..............
4. Do you sleep with any lights on? yes, my son is scared of the dark. nighlites on in every room
5. Who is your biggest cheerleader in life? My son and my old boss.
