Just Wanted To Say Hi
Hi Christina!! Welcome to OH!! It IS a great place and there are tons of really nice people all over these boards. I have met lots of nice people here who have gotten or will be getting or like me, trying to get approved to having surgery!!
I, too, have been researching WLS for years. I kept getting close to making the first step, but would back out due to fear. I was afraid of having to have a tube down my throat and me awake. I came on here and everyone helped me through it by telling me I won't wake up to a tube down my throat!! YAY
Finally went to seminar this past July and just today I got all my paperwork sent into our insurance for approval. I sure wish I would have done it years ago, but can't look back ~ only forward.

7 Months out to the date ~ Total loss of 100 pounds!! October 3, 2010: 179 pounds
February 1, 2011 ~ weigh 146 pounds

It is very nice to meet you also. You got your paperwork in really fast that is awesome. This time last year I still had some appointments before all my paperwork was put together. I know this is a very exciting time for you, and it will only get better from here on out. I hope you get your approval very soon.
