Yes it did.  I had about 1/2 slice with my yogart.    I am going to look for it when shopping tonight.

Good morning everyone!

Just getting ready to have some protein coffee.  I already had some cottage cheese for breakfast.

Here's what I freak out about.....

1.  People who talk on their cell phones while they are checking out at the store....drives me nuts!!

2.  Have to agree totally with Brenda ....the guys in my house (my two sons 17 1/2 & 20 yr old....they are slobs and very spoiled.  I wish they would pick up after themselves and 'see' the messes.  They even say to me 'mom, why do you always freak out' when I say something about the house being a mess.

3.  when my cell phone rings and one of my kids is on the road (like my daughter going back to school or my son driving back & forth to his college classes).  Ever since each of them were in accidents earlier this year and both had called me aying 'mom, i've been in an accident'  it just freaks me out when i hear my cell phone ring and it's them and I know their on the highway.

4.  when the girl in the next cubicle at work eats crunchy things and I can hear it through the wall.

5.  my youngest son misplaces his stuff...he's forever losing his cell phone, ipod, keys, wallet, you name it......if it isn't attached, he's losing it!

Have a great weekend everyone!  I'm heading to Chelsea for the homecoming game tonight....brrrrr it's gonna be a cold one!

Well, I have a BAZILLION things to do today.  Just got Dub down for a nap.  Waiting for my BIL and bro to get here as they are the ones doing the roof this weekend.  AJ has worked late every night this week because they are launching a new line and he has had to interview 2nd shifters for jobs on his line, so he has been NO help with getting things ready for this weekend.  Dub was not cooperative yesterday, either, as he didn't nap at all and was crabby all day...no fever, fed, clean diaper, etc. etc.  I just couldn't figure him out yesterday!

So, today, all chaos will break loose as my bro and his family get here (3 boys under 6)...LOL!  But it's the good kind of chaos!

QOTD:  I tend NOT to freak out about things.  I don't know how I do it, but I manage to maintain a pretty even level of calmness.  I could be freaking out right now, but ya know...things will get done, maybe not quite how I envisioned initially, but they'll get done none-the-less.  So...I'm off to start making 10 pounds of sloppy joe and not freak out about everything that will be going on this weekend...oh and I'll do it all without internet or tv!  LOL!  Now THAT'S enough to make me freak out...no internet!

Good morning all -

Stopped at the lab to get poked this morning.  The tech wasn't very good cuz this one hurt!  Still sipping on my coffee this morning and waiting for the phone to go crazy any minute now -- just sent out a press release about H1N1.  UGH!

I don't usually freak out about stuff.  I just deal with it as it comes along and I'm pretty laid back about things.  But here's a few things on my mind today...

#1 - gotta shop for a new computer. The one I have now isn't powerful enough for Creative Suite 4 and all the heavy graphics stuff I need to do for school work.

#2 - once I get that computer, that means I buy CS4 - which is about $800.  Hoping to get a student discount.

#3 - Need to do better with drinking water today and through the weekend.  Been slacking too much lately.

#4 - I forgot it was Friday - trash day - and I realized it when I walked out the door this morning for work.  I've got 2 big boxes leftover from assembling bookcases and several other boxes that needed to be broken down and put to the road.  Guess I live with them in the house until next week.

#5 - I signed up for a closet organizing seminar a few weeks ago and I had 2 weeks to get it done. I failed miserably and my closet is still not organized.  Now I feel guilty for spending the money for the lesson and not following through in a timely manner.

In regards to item #1.  We just bought a new one, and had it custom built.  I thought it was going to be expensive, but this guy is real reasonable.  His base pc model is $495, and you can modify it from there. It is Computers to Go, they have locations in Midland and Saginaw Malls.  He might also be able to get you a deal on the software.

Spending my morning getting things done including calling my insurance company to make sure nothing is messed up and following up with my surgeon's office re: the status of my insurance approval.

Anyway, things that make me crazy:

1.  Bureaucracy- all the craziness that goes with it has literally drove me crazy the past few years. Compared to the bureaucracy of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, this whole insurance thing is pretty easy,

2.  And on a related note, I hate when people don't return your phone calls.  Let's try for a little courtesy there people.

3. the No Child Left  Behind mandate, which have cost me a little less than $10,000 worth of random classes beyond my bachelor's and master's degree in my quest to be 'highly qualified' enough to teach secondary students English and Social Studies and actually find a job...sorry, all the studying this week is getting me a little riled up.

4.  Texting language...I'm not that old, but I still spell things out when I send text message.

And one thing that I love....

5.  The smell of fall-it's my favorite season and makes me glad to be back in Michigan this time of year.

Have a happy Friday everyone!
