Thursdays Morning
A strawberry protein shake for me this a.m. and every a.m. I have today and tomorrow off. I went to a ladies expo last week and won a mary kay makeover and gift card. I do not wear make up so I told my daughter she could have it. They are meeting at my house tomorrow. She will be 21 at the end of the month so I guess I gave her a free birthday gift. lol
I was looking at my unders and thinking I need to buy new ones. I told myself before surgery that I would not buy lots of clothes while shrinking but undies was one thing I promised myself I would buy. I can't stand it when I have to pull them up all the time. So that was one thing on my shopping list for today.
Before surgery my neice had a bra party. I got fitted and spent tons of money on them. At the time I hated them. But I love them now. I went form using an extension for my bra's to being on the last row of hooks. I am sad to think I will have to buy them soon. The only thing I hate worse that shoe shopping is bra shopping.
Have a great day
QOD: Well undergarment tops and bottoms are different stories. For bottoms I tend to go for the basic Fruit of the Loom or Hanes underwear at Target or wherever. When it comes to bras though, it's one of my biggest splurges. I had a friend in college who worked in the Nordstrom Lingerie department during summers and holidays and she taught me the value (including the slimming value) of quality, well fitting bras. So I keep about 4 Wacoal (I think that's how you spell it) bras in rotation, and replace one every 3 months or so because the do stretch out and whatnot. Don't know what I'm going to do if/when I start shrinking after surgery though...

I drank my SF Grape Koolaid early this morning, then a protien coffe and then some cottage cheese & yogurt for breakfast. I am so full right now. I think I overdid it on the breakfast.
QOTD: Undies.....well lets see...I bought some undies at Fashion Bug before they went out of business in Midland so I got a really good deal and have lots of pairs. But they are a bit big now so I need to go buy more. I just got fitted a couple months back and bought 4 bras at Victoria Secret. Love them! I do need to buy a sports bra for exercising though, just haven't gotten around to it.
Question for all that exercise and wear a sports bra - do you buy the same size as you do in your normal bra?? I want to just go in the store and buy one, I don't want to go through the hassle of trying them on, etc. Seems I looked once and they came in S, M, L, XL, etc... so I said forget it and didnt get one.
Have a good day everyone!

While it can get pricey, there are companies like Title Nine and another one I am forgetting now that make a while variety of sports bras depending on the style, the amount of support you need for the workout you are doing and all that. They do come in normal bra sizes. We sometimes have the catalogues lying around the house, but I'm sure if you googled Title Nine you could find their website.
I've always kind of hated the stretchy over the head kind of sports bras and it seems like they stretch out the minute you get them, but maybe that's just my ridiculously broad shoulders...so finding a sports bra that has clasps like a normal bra was great.
Hope this helps and if I remember the name of the other company I'll let you all know.

It's the joy of buying pants that fit your butt and hips, but now your tummy is flat so there is all this extra material that pops up like....ummm....well.....you know.
I tried to buy some jeans last week and all of the plus size ones I found had a tummy control panel in them. I need hip and butt control, not tummy!!!
